Well I was in need of two front tires being a veteran on a budget I stopped in at the VA at social services and she started to call around for help after an hour and no help from any one carey tire shop said sure bring the car in.
I took the car in and they replaced all for tires I had said I only the front done Mr. Carey said we don't do half a job so I am so grateful and thankful for gentlemen of his caliber.
Mr. Carey went further by installing all tpms in the tires and replaced my missing spare tire. His explanation was veterans make sacrifices for those at home my way of giving back what a gesture made me tear up when I asked how much he handed me my keys and said have a good day that's when I broke down in my car of course.

I stopped In at Carey's today with a tire problem on our motorhome, we were well received, they removed the big wheel, could not find the slow leak that had mysteriously vanished. They replaced to valve, then checked the rest of the tires at no cost. Thank you guys for a job well done, much appreciated.

Very friendly. I drove down to PL from Colorado and noticed that my brakes sounded awful after my car sat for a day. The owner was willing to come drive with me twice after I got service done because I wasn't happy with how my brakes sounded and I live in a dry climate. I'm not used to things rusting so fast and they were patient in explaining things to me.Service: Brakes

Tried to charge me $500 for an oil change and air filter change. I got lucky and asked them for a break down of what they were charging me for. My cost had gone from $1,200 to $700 I ended up leaving my truck there for some other maintenance and half of it didn’t get done right. To my surprise a couple hours later they called and told me I didn’t have to do my front breaks and I have to change something else basically they were gonna do less labor return my breaks and my out the door cost was going to go back up $400 ? so my cost was back up to $1,100 I won’t be back and I wouldn’t wish anyone to deal with these cats. Complete joke of a location. It looks pretty tho ☺️Next go around I went to Affordable AutoThey do some good work and DON’T think to themselves let me rob this guy while he’s still in town.They are located at1307 N Virginia StPort Lavaca, TX 77979United States ??

True, they are polite but this place will charge you for services not performed. We took our vehicle in. No one could figure out why it wouldn't start. We were charged for a diagnostic. Note: Can't perform a diagnostic if the vehicle cannot start. We were satisfied until a secretary called back and said we were stuck with extra charges; for services not done. Who the heck spends over two hours looking at a vehicle when they know they can't start it. 15 min does not add up to two hours.
