The manager Bob is a theif, reads the Electric meters and charge's you more than what you use. Keeps all his trash in the clubhouse and says it under remodel so you can't use it, washer and dryer can't use because it doesn't work. If you loose the key it will cost you $200 hundred for a replacement, he and his ex-wife Martha was stilling from Don Blanton the owner. Oh and another thing watch out for if you're not part of his Gossip team and Sladeris buddy's he will give you an eviction notice. Be aware of his elmer fudd look alike personality.

I called & asked if there were monthly stays available. He then asked me if I had kids, he said I can’t stay there because I have kids.. I told him they’re both infants, they won’t be any trouble and he said no I can’t let you stay here: when I asked “why? “ he rudely responded with “mam I don’t have to tell you why I don’t allow kids” … after reading the past reviews I’m glad I did not stay here ! I could not imagine being in the presence of a man who assaults women when they’re alone in their RVs.

READ THIS REVIEW ITS IMPORTANT!!! If you are a girl, or you have children/pets you need to know this information. This park is not safe! Bob the manger is disgusting. He stares at all the girls (even young, young girls) butts/ breast. He has made advances on multiple Women that have stayed here. All those comments are true. I even thought they was lies, I wish I would have listened! I and others have seen Bob buying pills/ other illegal stuff at night from others in the park. I caught Bob staring at me (with his phone out at me!!) and I told my husband who confronted him. Bob admitted to it, after that he left us alone. Then we got our next bill and our rent went up $200! Our lot was the smallest of all of them. The lots you rent are not yours, as in others will park by your camper and be in your lot. There is really no room for one small car on your lot plus rv. You will be hassled all the time about moving your car that is on your lot so that the old men can park their boats/cars. The lots are already super small and uncomfortable, then you have Bob and his old creepy friends that will hangout on your lot. They do this especially when they know girls live there and maybe are home alone. Bobs dogs are small but super aggressive, and he does not keep them contained. He also allows them to poop on your lot and not pick it up. If he does not like you, or you won't allow him to creep on you he will evict you for no reason. At the beginning we made a agreement with Bob to get free rent if we took care of the lawn care. We done that for a month and he gave us a bill and said that he didn't mean what he said he just had to have someone do it. Of course we needed a place to stay so we stopped doing it and paid the rent, upset but it is what it is. We made another agreement to pay rent at the end of the month not the 6th. (yes, I should have learned) He never had a issue with this until today. I will get to that. We had a dog from another rv renter, attack me and one of my dogs. I didn't get hurt so I asked Bob to please tell them to put it on a leash. He did not instead he put his hand ON HIS PISTOL and started yelling at me! He did not do anything about it and when he finally came out, with yet again his hand on his pistol staring at us. I have a sweet little puppy and someone was trying to steal her and she ended up biting them. They hurt her little paw. It was one of the creepy old men that live by the office. She is a more wanted breed but she's fixed so they would have just killed her if they did get her. Everyone that is honest here will tell you he is messed up in the head, he is on meds/drugs. Bob also says how much water/ electricity you use, he over charges by $100. We have also caught boat renters plugging in their boats into our electricity and we have to pay for it. Bob will approve of your dogs and then evict you for having dogs because it is a "health hazard ". We keep our dogs/lot very clean. Bob is not the only old man you need to look at for. We would also be three hours away and have to drive back because we would threaten to evict us if we didn't come back and move our car a inch. There was multiple days we had to drive back to move our car that was on our lot because his friends wanted to park there that didn't stay at the park!! You also do not get to use the laundry room, bathrooms, or club house. He will also refuse to give the code for the gate. Please do not go here. Someone is going to get hurt by him if something is not done. Be safe

The guy who takes care of the place is a joke. They are not friendly in that park, just pulled out camper out of there. Bad roads to the place. Just bad business all around!

We absolutely love Tarpon RV Park!!! The manager, Bob, is amazing! He’s very helpful and accommodating. We have plenty of room for our 40ft Class A and our tower SUV. Our family has been made to feel very welcome here, including my 3 children! I was leery based on the other reviews but I am so glad we took a chance! It’s quiet and friendly, they don’t put up with a bunch of nonsense and I like that! I feel safe here and I can let my kids play outside without fear. The park is small and right on the “finger”. The fishing is great! There is a nice clubhouse where we have get togethers. It’s nice to use a full size oven sometimes!! We’ve had a blast and actually stayed longer than we intended in the beginning! We’ve decided we will be staying here for the foreseeable future. Tarpon RV Park is where your treated like family!! We are fulltime RVers and we’ve been traveling the country for several years and this is one of the friendliest parks we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at!!!

Let me start by saying I did not stay here, I was just passing by on my way to the Island and needed to fill my fresh water tank, which I got denied on the previous RV Park. Even though the office was close I called the number and a man answer. I ask him if I could fill my fresh water tank and he said yes. After been denied on the previous RV Park it felt like I won the lottery lol. From what I saw / experienced the staff was friendly (even though the office was close) and the RV Park was very clean (no trash outside).

Tarpon RV Park and Marina is a very nice place to dock your boat. The park is small and most of the Space's have long term tenets. It is very quiet and has a fishing dock. There are Space's for short term.
