I wanna start by saying this place used to be good but my recent experience leaves me feeling like a sucker. I took my vehicle here for an alignment big mistake . The first try I got in and the vehicle was pulling hard and shaking like crazy. they blamed it on my tires when I could VISUALY see the left tire was 3+” out of Alignment. They installed new tires and re-alligned it then and still had alignment issues. I asked for a print out of the Alignment (standard practice) they gave me some run around how there printer was broken (still managed to print an invoice) After the 3rd try and 4hrs of waiting it drives sort of straight. When I got home I looked at the wheels and notice they broke off 2 of my wheel studs (you can see in the pictures these are freshly broken) and severely stripped out a 3rd they also lost the covers for my 4x4 hubs. I was not informed of any of this before I left. for a shop to send a customer on their way (I had my wife drive the vehicle home) is simply dangerous and reckless. I’ve made many attempts to contact them over the last few days and no one will answer the phone and the voicemail box is full. Witch is fine as I don’t even trust them to fix the stuff they messed up. I will be getting another alignment elsewhere and canceling the charge with my credit card. I would avoid this business at all costs.

1 star is too many. Absolutely terrible place. I took my BMW there with a crank no start. I told them I needed it done within a week. They kept it 3 weeks, changed the battery and the CPS sensor I provided, yet they charged me for another and never got the other new one back. Total cost and still wasnt fixed $700. I called the BMW dealership and coastal did do, would have cost less at the BMW dealership! Turned out to be just a bad wire that was an easy $75 fix however they refused to check even after I told them thats what the codes point to.

They have terrible service I pulled in for a vehicle inspection and I was completely ignored by the staff and the people there they apparently do not want your business so I would recommend elsewhere have a nice day.Service: Vehicle Inspection

(THESE OTHER 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE.) Do not GO there. THEY HAVE A REHEARSED SCAM ROUTINE...even if you just ask about a service they will get your keys and start working on your car..then tell you have to come back...they will not quote a price until they have your car...then they will tell you to go wait in the office. THE MECHANIS CALLS THE LITTLE OFFICE...THEN SAYS OK OK i SEE OK ..AFTER CAR IS TAKEN APART THEY GIVE YOUR A QUOTE...THEN WHEN YOU PAY.they add on a supply fees....waste disposal fee.S.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...

JJ from Coastal auto repair was very kind, and offered for us to sit inside his air conditioned office since the weather was very hot outside. He kept us busy talking about his family and his career while we were waiting to be picked up by family. Did a great job on the car, very highly recommended!Service: Engine repair

Until just recently I would have agreed with the positive reviews here. The former owners/managers were customer-friendly and the pricing was very reasonable. Today I took my toyota in to have wiring installed for a trailer hitch that was already mounted. I provided the parts and the bill was $190-- $95/hour labor for 2 hours. This is more than the dealership would have charged. After I refused to pay this bill, the new owner and I settled on $100. Be careful in dealing with this business or better yet, avoid it altogether.

John always delivers top-notch customer service and repairs. He keeps us informed on what he's doing, what it will cost, and explains everything along the way. He's truly a great find. His wife does the state vehicle inspections and does a thorough check. If you haven't discovered them yet, do yourself a favor and try them.

John is awesome! He diagnosed that my AC needed a new compressor and was very knowledgeable. Super friendly too! Now my a/c blows super cold.
