706 TX-87, Port Bolivar“Wonderful hotel. So many hotels are doing away with full service it's nice to have such a beautiful historic hotel with valet, doormen & bellhops. I was initially disappointed because I reserved a room with street view & was given a room with a view of a brick wall and alley. But it was so beautiful inside and QUIET. Bed was comfortable. The bar was exceptional. Had the best martini with bleu cheese olives. Best drink my entire stay. Can't wait until the rooftop bar is finally open again”
“For a small hotel it was a pleasure staying there the Staff was helpful the breakfast was actually more than expected with an automatic pancake maker making perfect delicious pancakes and all the selections of pastry, oatmeal. And cereal coffee and more it was great!Nearby activities: Seems a bit of a walk to get to places or an uber will be very reasonable to get you anywhere you needSafety: Seems to be no safety concerns in the area”

“The truth is that there are no complaints about our stay at this hotel... The staff is very friendly, especially the cleaning staff, always with a big smile... The facilities are clean and in good condition, the pool water is warm, and the sea in front of us, we just had to cross the street...”
“My family and I chose this hotel because it was near my sister’s house and right around the corner from (Galveston) Island. This hotel ended up being one of the best La Quinta’s that I have stayed at in a while. I’m a frequent traveler so having a nice, clean, comfortable and friendly hotel is very important to me. We intended to stay only for two nights but we were so impressed with the hotel we extended our stay for 2 more days. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Mrs. Kathy Peters shout out to you my friend!! Thank you for your awesome customer service! We will be back! The outdoor pool, fitness center and complimentary breakfast was a plus!”

1600 TX-87, Crystal Beach“The hosts are absolutely wonderful people, they made my experience so much work it. And I would come back again to visit just to see them. It's not easy being on work and travel, and they helped me so much so that I was able to go to work a next day. Not all angels wear capes and I thank God for the way that they gave me food from their own table just so I could have something to eat when I was running low on both food and finances. I appreciate their kindness and will never forget all that they did. The Crystal Palace Motel is worth the visit because of them. -AnonymousNearby activities: There was a seafood festival in my May right across from the hotel that I went to.Walkability: The hotel was close by where I worked.”
“Amazing location, could see the ocean from our balcony! We got the king suite. The price was unbeatable for the stay and room we had. We spent 6 nights in this wonderful hotel. The front desk was very helpful, kind and professional. The room was very clean and beyond what we even imagined. The housekeepers went above and beyond to make sure our room was kept nice since we were so busy running around, they also went above and beyond and did such a great job. We will definitely be coming back and letting others know if they want to visit that this is the hotel we would recommend! The location is perfect. It is in the middle of everything you could ever want to do and is convenient! Thank you for helping to contribute to an amazing vacation memory we will never forget for my children and us.Rooms: Exceptional! Well kept. Lots of space, roomy balcony, comfortable couch. “Have you ever walked into a room and felt it's ora? Then let's talk about the hidden gem that is the 409. It's the perfect marriage of high tech with the simplicity of a jazzy vibe of the rat pack era. But you know you're still on the beach. With a digital keyless entry, you walk in to a wall mounted HD Samsung television (LED) room with comfortable linens and plush pillows that matches the room. You don't know how much you appreciate that until you've been there. The room is already at a temperature perfect for relaxation. At the vanity, the lighting is perfectly even around the mirror for that classic Hollywood glow instead of the unappealing florescent light. The shower is powerful and they even took the time to put non- slip, beach themed pads at the bottom. They truly went all out with the industrial sized laundry machines you only see in actual laundry establishments. Don't waste your time or money on any place else. Because most importantly, they have the Southern Hospitality that is Crystal Beach.”
“The location is no more than 6 minutes from restaurants, stores, and the beach. The staff is all very friendly. Rooms have full kitchens with full size refrigerator, cabinet space, season rack, and a 2 burner glass stove. Service is also great. It's quiet and a place that will make you feel at home. They also have a really nice pool with sunchairs as well as tables and a hot tub.”

2024 Seawall Blvd, Galveston“This is a beautiful old hotel, redone and styled in a grand look. We had absolutely no problems with our July 4th stay. We were there just a short time and did not experience many of the amenities such as the pool, hot tub, or restaurant. We did use room service and was pleasantly surprised how tasty the food was and impressed it only took 20 minutes to receive. The rooms are smaller than many comparable hotels, but not uncomfortably so. Efficient use of space with beautiful white marble bath. The location is great. Easy access to the ocean, shopping and dining.”

The hot tub is nice since the pool isn’t heated, but wasn’t working one night of our stay. There were also 2 small roaches at our last stay. One in our room and one in the hallway. It may deter us staying again.”

She answered every question and was so friendly. I am so excited to be staying with you if this is the service I can expect I will be staying with you every trip to galveston in the future.”

1702 Seawall Blvd, Galveston“It's a typical beach hotel. We didn't expect any special service. The room was very clean and the location is very good. Management repeatedly asked if there was anything they could do to improve our stay.”
“The room and the whole experience exided my expectations especially after I reading those bad reviews. This more than 50 year old motel named after the street it's located on has his history and dignity. Definitely it saw better times but it's still good. Our room on the second floor was nice with comfortable beds and the sea view. We had a good night sleep. We had hot water. Everything was clear and maintained with care. There were in fact two rooms. The entry room with the kitchenette, the fridge, the microwave was a plus. The giant plus were the screens on the windows in the bedroom, which most of the hotels now don't have now. We used the natural air instead of the conditioner. We had a unique experience. Thank you!”
“Very clean. Great location. You can leave Your vehicle the duration of your stay. $50 Charge. $10 Per Person for shuttle to the port. I want to give a big Thank You to Mona. She went out of her way to take great care of us.Thank YouTodd Young”

“Can be $-$$ since only place before and after getting on the ferry. Wide array of needed items, customer service can a wee bit slow but this can be attributed to location at hand. Customer service is still good though”
