I don't recommend this place for your fur babies. My dog had problems. I brought her here, and all they did was give antibiotics. My dog died a week later in a dog ER. If you don't know what's wrong just can just say you don't. Instead, you charge me money, then send me on my way to let my baby die like that.

Dr. Rutty has been my go to for the passed 7 years. Never had any issues with customer service or disagreements on procedures. They always have had my pets best interest at heart and given me the best advice possible under money crunch scenerios. I recently got my Great Dane puppy’s ears done by Dr rutty and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Following the aftercare steps they gave, the wraps were off and ears were standing beautifully. They even kept him over night unlike any of the other places I’ve called asking about ear crops. The others wanted to do it the same day and release him to me, so it was nice to speak with a clinic who wanted to keep my baby overnight to ensure he was 100% ok afterwards. Thank you guys for the attention to detail! I will always recommend Dr Rutty to other pet owners!

This animal clinic has been a godsend for me and my dog Tidbit, I had a horrible experience with Bridge City animal when she fell out and stopped breathing. I had the financial means to care for her but they would not even look at her to administer comfort at that time. Rutty animal clinic did not price gouge me told me to bring her in, all the while I was afraid that she would need to be humanely euthanized. Both of the veterinarians at Rutty animal clinic calmed me down and examined her determined that she needed further medication and care for her heart, she is now recovering at home and doing well, they have worked with me on the vet visits and the medications for cost, along with also being open the day of the hurricane we recently had which all had occurred in Tidbits recovery. To my surprise, one of the veterinarians called me himself the next day at home to ask how she was doing!!! I couldn't believe it, it would have been great if it was just the receptionist that it called but the actual vet called to check on her! The compassion and care exemplified at Rutty Animal Clinic has gone far beyond my expectations and my faith in humanity has definitely been restored from the veterinarians, vet assistants, receptionists associated with this animal clinic!!! I recommend this clinic to every pet owner! If I can give them 10 Stars, I would!

Dr Rutty has the knowledge and expertise to help you take excellent care of your animals. He helped me to save my kitten from a life-threatening fungal illness, all the while preventing my other kitten from contracting it. The prices are reasonable and the staff is excellent. I will continue to take my animals to see Dr Rutty.

They sat up there and let my dog die from bleeding out after getting spayed and staying with them for a night! Would not recommend, especially if your dog is like your baby. They need to pay closer attention. This should not have happened! And I wasn’t aware of her passing until I was on my way to pick her up, whenever she died overnight.??
