Was sold a red 2005 dodge Dakota with 83,000 miles on it. Was told it’s a clean truck with low one owner mileage on said truck. Problems 3 days after purchase this truck A/c flooded inside, tie rods were shot, transmission starting to go out. Sometimes it works and sometimes it slips bad. Suicide doors are not working due to cable issues. I traded in a truck that worked fine along with over $5,700 cash for what is called A LEMON or PIECE Of CRAP!!! Long story short, we wasted 4 hours at this dealership to try to buy a 2-year old truck just to be told at the very end that there was zero flexibility in price (and that it would actually be $10K above the price listed on the website).
My husband and I have been looking for a Ford Maverick, so we decided to stop by while we were in town. We arrived just after noon, test drove a 2023 Maverick Lariat, and sat down with a salesperson to begin negotiations. She told us that the first price would not be the final price, that this was the first round, and we expressed from the beginning that we wanted to negotiate the price listed on the site, and we also didn’t want any of the extra add-ons. After several rounds of her checking with her manager (and us waiting a long time in-between), and them trying to sell us a different truck instead (which we declined), she asked if we wanted to speak to the finance manager, who could discuss further financial options with us. We agreed, and then proceeded to wait over an hour in the waiting room to be able to speak to the finance manager, Trey. When we finally went in there, he had all the paperwork set up and told us the total (which was $10K above the price that we already had said we didn’t want to pay, including the add-ons we had told our salesperson we didn’t want!). He then acted surprised when we balked at the price and said he ‘thought we were good to go’. Then our salesperson acted like she didn’t know what the problem was either. Eventually Trey told us that that was the lowest they could go (even though you could buy a new 2025 Maverick Lariat for almost that same price, and this truck was 2 years old!!). This was after we spent over 4 HOURS there, mostly waiting. Very VERY frustrating experience, and just to be told that there was zero flexibility on price after we had been led to believe we could negotiate, and in fact it would be $10K more than what we had said from the beginning we didn’t want to pay. A waste of all of our time and we will absolutely be taking our business elsewhere.

Wouldn’t recommend to buy from them I had a family member helping us co-sign who live out of state they wanted to see the buyers order and refused to give to us. We left yesterday evening to think about on the ride home we txted Dustin our sales person that we were interested and we would come when my husband got off of work this evening to sign and give down payment. This morning Dustin txted my husband wanting to get the down payment. We did not feel comfortable doing so since we didn’t know our interest rate and we could see the buyers order. And this afternoon I get a called saying I needed to call immediately and we needed to put money down to save the car from being sold mind you we signed one of the buyers order yesterday and we confirmed we were coming. They sold the car 30 mins before my husband got off will never go back to them wasted our time
Dustin also told me he had the car on the side and ready to go for when we got there.

Got my car from them and everything went smoothly. Waited for my plate to come in but it never came so I called them up in confusion. All they could say was they don’t know and give me a temp plate. Time goes by, my temp plate expires so I called them up and the same thing, they send another temp plate. (Keep in mind I get stopped by the cops and asked about it). Call them multiple times to either get no answer or no useful information. This is over the course of a couple of months. Then I get a call from them saying they can’t register my car because “They missed a sales tax.” and I have to pay $1,200. I reluctantly pay it and they say “they’ll get it handled” and I get NOTHING. In fact, I still never got that plate and this was 6 months after that phone call. I wind up going to the dealership and in the process of them giving me a temp plate, the general manager says no, they can’t do that. Some days later I wind up on a phone
call with the general manager and tell him my clearly frustrating situation. Says he’ll call me back. To this day I never received a call from them and that was almost 3 weeks ago… Keep in mind I put a very large down payment to these people. Horrendous business management.

I purchased my Mini Cooper Hard-Top here and we got an amazing deal. We were helped by Dustin Symmons and he was great and not pushy at all. Our finance guy was super nice although I didn’t catch his name unfortunately. No one crowded us when we arrived at the dealership to look either. Was very relaxed.

Not impressed by my recent interaction with Town and Country Ford of Port Arthur. Sales reps Cody and Tracy were both as pleasant and helpful as anyone would hope for, but ultimately, T&C just will not sell a truck at their advertised price unless you also buy their extended warranty. I even requested a face to face conversation with the sales manager James, who plainly told me they would not sell the truck unless I purchase the Advantage Care Package adder. Very unfortunate to have made 3 out of town trips and come so close to a deal and still fail to close because of an unadvertised add-on requirement.

I worked directly with James. James is old school, no nonsense, and to the point. We worked a deal together on an F150 that couldn’t be beat! I called a couple of local dealerships that I trust and asked them if I should take the deal and they confirmed that I should!
After James worked up a killer deal for me, my wife brought me back to reality and we decided to go with a much lower cost used sedan.
For the time James spent working with me, I wanted to leave a review to say thank you! Thank you James and team!

I traveled three hours to this place for a specific car that I had been inquiring about for over a week. Right when I got there, they said the car was sold. Literally not even 1 hour before I arrived and confirmed the car was still there. They then tried to upsell me on a car that was $10k more than the car I had wanted. I was insistent on what I wanted and they really didn’t listen to what I had to say. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I do not recommend this place at all.

Very happy with my visit to the service department at Town & Country Ford! I scheduled and appointment to address a recall notice and another small issue. The Service Advisor was super nice and I even had the opportunity to meet the technician and explain the concern. Within a couple of hours, both issues were resolved and I could not be more satisfied. This is the reason why I drive past two other Ford dealerships to do my business with Town & Country Ford.

Awesome customer service ! I didn’t have the best credit but they still gave me a pretty good deal and worked with me. Tracey was a great sales woman and I recommend anyone going to purchase a new vehicle to come here and speak with her . They were patient through my pickiness in vehicle selection and made sure I rode out of there with the car I’ve always wanted for a sweet price .

I do NOT recommend this dealership. Sold me a car that has had SEVERAL issues. They take advantage if you don’t know much about vehicles/buying a car. I would expect these actions from a side-of-the-road car lot, not from an actual dealership. Not trustworthy.
