I was traveling for work, and this hotel popped up in my GPS. I am glad I chose to stay here. Cynthia at the front desk was very helpful. I went down for breakfast the next morning, and Eva's cooking was excellent. The breakfast was fresh constantly, very crispy bacon (none of that rubbery stuff). I have to work in this city for 45 days. I will be staying here the entire time. Shout out to Sharon for always greeting me with a smileI recommend you try this place out.Food & drinks: Get the bacon

As a retired navy captain I am disgusted at the treatment we received from the low life working at the holiday inn express this evening- she kept hanging up aim is and then proceeded to make threats - I am having to call the police .

IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF YOUR IHG REWARDS THEN STAY HEREThis location always make check-in and check-out such a struggle.My company books my rooms all the time and put it under my company's name and I ask the front desk to connect my reward account to my stay and switch it to my name, bam, it takes 5 seconds, but alas, at this location they pretend they can't, they will come up with as many as unreasonable excuses, to a level that you can't hide your laugh at their reasoning.Upon check-out I asked for a receipt, again it takes one click and 2 seconds, but at the branch n, you will receive it the next day via email, and guess what, they didn't send out the email so I had to call and waste my working time chasing after them.However, my company had a call with their branch manager, who was very unhelpful and we decided to take our business away from their branch.

Came to town for a funeral. Ended up dealing with the same lady at the desk most of the time. Unhelpful and rude. Laughed and it seemed funny to her that I was upset and tired due to travel and the funeral.A few main issues. After returning on Friday after being out all day I do what I normally do and never have an issue. I stopped to get towels and toilet paper to save both them and me a trip. I do it all the time at every chain. Mind you while dealing with this a kids baseball thing arrived and the parents didn't seem to care at all what the kids did.I found out I had to go back to my room, gather all my dirty towels, bring them back down to desk to get new towels to then bring up. They didn't need the empty toilet paper rolls to prove I needed tp thank goodness.Then I have to wait in lobby with all the dirty towels while the baseball squad checks in. Then I'm handed a bag, I have to get the towels I there. No one counts them. I get a new stack.I bring this up. It's now almost 10 pm. I have been up since 6 am. Now kids are running up and down the hall. Laughing, yelling, running walls and doors. My room phone doesn't work!!! Called desk on cell they said they would call a manager.Next morning manager and owner were there. Got some nonsense about stolen towels and covid protocols. If I was going to steal towels making me bring down dirty ones to give me fresh ones that could be stolen doesn't add up. Also what covid policy? No one wore masks, breakfast was served. No 6ft rule. I'm not complaining just pointing out that it means nothing if no other policies are enforced. This us the only hotel chain I have seen this at.Avoid

I stayed here from Thursday to Saturday morning. This overall has been frustrating. There was a small bug in my room first night. The person at the counter was rude and unfriendly. Wouldn't even say hello or respond to a simple greeting. When I came back after being gone all day I stopped at the counter for toilet paper and towels so no one would have to come up nor have to go to room on 3rd floor then come back down.I was told I had to go up, get any used towels, bring them back down, wait in line, then I could get new towels. That's is stupid and horrible customer service. I was trying to make it easy but this is insane. You want the dirty towels then send someone up to get them. I did it once. I can't see me staying here again, then I had to put them in a bag given to me.There is a sign in the room to call down for anything you need. I didn't try but do not believe that to be true.Some minor things, the channel list is partly incorrect, the TV sometimes goes pixelated. Really the bed is okay. Breakfast is better then similar places. The employees I and my family spoke to were unhelpful and rude.When my other family members were getting ready for noon check out the cleaning crew hung out around the rooms and even went into my sister's room three times even after being told not to.Truly disappointed in this as i have had some good experiences with holiday Inn.There are a ton of hotels in this same few block radius You have options. Choose a better one.

I booked this room through hotel. Com & what they fail to tell you is it a completely non smoking hotel, which is great for those who don't smoke, not so much for those that do. On top of that they will not refund your money matter the fact they misrepresented the hotel by not telling people about the hotel. It's great for nonsmokers.

I was impressed with the way the receptionist, Joanna, managed to help to resolve Expedia' issue with my reservation. It was a rare moment when I felt that a service provider sincerely takes customer' side and aggressively pursues the resolution in my best interest. Exemplary service! I hope the business takes a note and makes sure people like Joanna are well taken care of because customers need them! Thank you Joanna!

Enjoyed Thanksgiving night. All very good.Watched the second half of the Dallas-New York football game, approximately 5 to 8 PM.Registration person noted I had the television with low volume with captions. She didn't mind it being louder. I normally keep it quiet for being the lobby area.Minor problem.Blame the thunder storm.Know not to blame delivery person or nearby stores being closed.No dinner type items.Past knew hot pockets.No breakfast cinnamon buns or pancakes.

My grandparents booked a stay here and came from Florida! Very clean, very friendly, the food was really good! The staff was very kind and helpful! The bedroom was clean and nice! Grandfather loved the biscuits and gravy, and they tasted all the food! Absolutely recommend 10/10!!

The Hotel was amazing, the staff was very friendly as you walk in the hotel the staff greated you with a pleasant and friendly smile that gave you the welcome feeling. The hotel was very clean from the lobby to the room. The breakfast was awesome. I recommend this hotel anytime you are in the area. I give this hotel a 10 ?

Our room was ready when we arrived. It was clean and cool in summer. The bed was comfortable. We did not hear the other people in the rooms around us. The dispensers in the shower were full, there were plenty of towels. The shower was a step in and had plenty of room. The breakfast was sufficient. It was the normal Holiday Inn fare, but they did have French toast. We were not far from Sea Rim State Park. We had a great time.

Terrible customer service!!! Printer in their 'business center' not working. They were unable (or unwilling) to help! I tried to talk to the manager, no dice (they had already left for the day). I had to call IHG main number and speak to customer relations to find another hotel they were affiliated with and drive there to print 10 pages! Unacceptable! I travel all over the state of Texas for business and I have never seen such an unorganized place! Also, there were ants in the bathroom!

When it comes to staying at hotels I'm real picky cause I know alot of different people stays in them and It was my five boys and I, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, everything about the room was was great will definitely be going back whenever I go back to Port Arthur, my kids didn't wanna leave the hotel.
