I highly recommend Port A Escapes for your Port Aransas bookings! They made the check in and check out process so easy! I called to ask a question and they were so nice! We loved the condo we stayed in and will definitely book with them next time.

We arrived in Port Aransas and found out the unit we rented didn’t have a working toilet. This unit was NOT rented from Port Aransas Escapes. This was the fault of another vacation rental agency.
We emergently contacted Port Aransas Escapes to see if they could help us get another room. Melissa was very sympathetic with our situation and helped us get another room. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. She saved our vacation from being ruined. I’ll definitely rent from Port A Escapes again.

If anything DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT stay here total waste of money, it has roaches, bed bugs and it smells like severe mold which is a health hazard. I attempted to address the host however the responses were delayed. Now for the "heated pool" lol that was incorrect there is no heated pool also they fill the pool up with a water hose no filtration there is no chlorine in the pool which is gross because how's the water being treated?! You pay for cleaning yet you still have to load the dish washer prior to leaving along with throwing out your trash. This place is a total rip off!!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Amazing stay in a great location house was roomy, clean, and beautiful.We hung out on the deck and watched the eclipse and we enjoyed fishing on the private pier. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely appalling! Upon arrival, the first house was in a disgraceful state — the floors still sprinkled in sand from the previous renter’s, clearly a sign of negligent cleaning. The AC malfunctioned in the second house, forcing our family to relocate. Shockingly, the AC in the replacement house was just as ineffective. But the horrors didn’t stop there. In the uncleaned first house, we were horrified to discover black mold festering by the door leading to the outside patio, and yes, we have photographic evidence. When we decided to take matters into our own hands and clean, we found gloves under the sink — shockingly infested with maggots! To add to our dismay, roaches made an appearance in the pantry. The garage door was another ordeal; it repeatedly refused to close properly, testing our patience each time. This entire fiasco was nothing short of a nightmare. For the premium we paid, we expected a vastly superior experience. We will NEVER use or recommend this company again. Their standards are severely lacking and their offerings are utterly shameful.

Our vacation did not start off on the right foot this year as our house was a few minutes late being ready. Not usually a big deal however we got to town early because usually Port A Escapes has their homes ready early so we were counting on that. The only reason I was so frustrated really wasn't even their fault, it was raining on the island the day of our arrival which made things a little interesting. With children and pets who couldn't get out of the car due to the weather, they were making me bonkers after spending 4 hours driving to Port A and another 3 hours driving around the island waiting on the house to be cleaned. Again, no blame on Port A Escapes for that situation. Once, we received the code to our house and made our way inside we were immediately disgusted by the smell of cigarette smoke and cigarette burns on furniture. I immediately called the agency and after discussing options with them their management team without hesitation sent us the code to another house that completely exceeded our expectations. Due to their quick response in remedying a dreadful situation, our vacation was relaxing and enjoyable. We have always used Port A Escapes for our vacations to the island and because of their excellent customer service with the one time we have ever had an issue with them, I will never even look at other agencies. I will always tell everyone I know looking to rent a house in Port A, that if they want someone who is going to truly do their best to make your vacation the best it can be then they should choose Port A escapes as well!! And the Modern By The Sea homes are absolutely, stunningly beautiful and modern! They are built from metal shipping containers and are so unique!

Very nice location, 1 restroom only not 2not good for more then 4 people because the shower, my kids had to wait to take a shower since is one restroom only. The place is very clean with 3 sprayers outside for sand removing purposes. We will rent

My family and I couldn't even book a listing. They do not respond within an hour as airbnb claims on their site. We requested booking at 6pm and we didn't hear back till 9am the next day. Only to hear back minutes after they said they accept our request that the host didn't accept the reservation! Their airbnb listing says they won't charge your account if your booking request isn't booked. That's false!! My family and I have to wait to get 1600+ refunded because they denied our booking request. The host said they ACCEPTED our request and that it had to be airbnb tech issue. After speaking to airbnb customer service twice, airbnb said it had to be the host mistake which they denied! Even after this mishap the host never tried to make things right. I asked for a confirmation from the host end showing they did accept our request only to hear unfortunately they did not. On top of the screw up and waiting for our money to be refunded, they booked the house minutes after our conversation on another website! We couldn't even get the house and that is probably why they acted as it was airbnb tech error! This company ruined our vacation and didn't try to make things right at all! They could have held the property and called airbnb customer service but they didn't care! Stay away from this company. They don't effectively communicate in a timely manner and they ruthlessly mess with your finances for their own gain!

We stayed at the Channel View Condos in May and we were not disappointed. Very clean condo and the management were great. The view, the pier, and pool were amazing. Thank you Port A Escapes for making our Anniversary Vacation amazing. We will definitely use you again. ??

We stayed in the Sandhill townhomes D2 rental. As a housekeeper myself i was disappointed at the state of cleanliness of the rental. There were hairs in the new towels, sand all over the floor, sand in the sheets before we even laid down making it super annoying to even get some rest. There were drugs in the fridge from the previous guest. There were finger smudges on the decor, light switches, knobs, and doors, some orange with make up. Large cockroaches are to be expected in the garage but there was a pest problem inside the living space. The tv remote’s batteries were dead. Our throw pillows were absolutely disgusting. Yellowed and discolored from aged body fluids. I would seriously expect more from a place charging $5,000 for a three night stay!Edit: The name is under Urbano Molina (my grandfather) We didn’t put in any service request because it was only a three night stay.

DO NOT use Baytree Condos B15-16 they are moldy condos. As soon as you enter you can smell the mold and the front door is splattered with mold. The pantry closet where the cookware is store is where the mold issue is. I called the manager when I arrived to the mold condo, but to my dismay there was nothing else available to transfer to and all the property manager could offer us was to go home about 2.5 hours away or maintenance could come & clean the mold.Lol cleaning mold when it is embedded into the sheet rock will not fix this issue.I’m on vacation why would I want maintenance in there cleaning mold?This condo gives me a headache more than a vacation.Who tells guests to go home? How about offer a cheaper price for a this mold infestation I’m vacationing in.If there was a 0 star they would have received this instead of the 1 starRooms: They are old and are not up to date. Hard beds, unclean moldy AC vents and rooms are not comfortable. Also I slipped the shower because the tub is so slippery.
