“Sandcastle Condominiums exceeded my expectations! Check-in was so easy and the front desk staff was so pleasant. I stayed in unit #419. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was very nice! This unit had everything I needed and then some! But the greatest attraction was the VIEW from the balcony! You can’t get any better than the view of the Gulf of Mexico from here! The balcony also overlooked the large pool! At night, it was nice to sit on the balcony in the comfortable Adirondack chairs and feel the breeze from the Gulf.
This is definitely my new favorite place I’ll stay every time I’m in Port Aransas.”

“We loved these little cottages. Great location in town. Perfect sized cottages. Beds were comfortable, place was clean. Only complaints would be the bright parking lot light above the bedroom windows, and the dryer didn't work well, but all in all, we'd come back!”

“Nothing but positive vibes and this positive review! We absolutely loved our stay! We loved it so much that we added an extra night. Tonya, in the office was super friendly and so helpful! Front desk is so important and Tonya made us feel welcome and valued. Multiple pools on the property were so nice! I loved not having a key to keep track of! Keyless entry pads worked great! We were notified that guests had to leave the island by 12 noon on the 6th so that was important news. We want to revisit Beachgate the next time we’re there. Super convenient to the water, we walked about less than 5 minutes so we
Don’t have to park on the sand. Each unit is individually owned and our room was perfect for us! Don’t forget to leave tips for the housekeeping crew. They were wonderful with only towel service, not daily cleanings. We keep it clean anyway :)

Rooms: We had 512a, no kitchen but we didn’t need it. Fridge and microwave we didn’t use. The king bed was insanely comfortable!! The mattress was quiet and the perfect firmness for a great nights sleep. I hated the neighbors in 512b, lol. Every night after 11pm they’d come home and speak full volume and made so much noise, omg crazy. But, the great thing was when we closed the bedroom door, we couldn’t hear anything! I had to use my cell in the private hallway because the wifi signal was very poor.

Nearby activities: There’s a restaurant next door that serves standard beach fare with cool views and a chill vibe. I just wish they would pour some bleach under the kitchen, it smells awful walking up the ramp to the entrance.

Safety: The keyless entry pads on the door were easy to use and secure.

Walkability: Super close to the beach! Parking was just great! It was a packed house July 4th - 5th. But we had parking on site.

Noteworthy details: Different pools to choose from, great staff to help with whatever you need. After 9pm, you can contact maintenance staff if you need help. WiFi in the room was non existent until everyone left Saturday afternoon:) Then I got service in the room.”

“Close to the beach. Receptionist was super friendly. Their breakfast options were decent. The have a jacuzzi and pool area. It was a very calm environment. Unfortunately we did not have any shampoo , body wash, toothbrushes, razors or extra towels in our room. Thankfully we had our own.”
