No problem with mail

Not sure if it’s growing pains or what, but sometimes we get mail late. I mean after hours our mail shows up in the mail box. We haven’t received any mail in the days after Thanksgiving! We always get a lot of mail. No, nothing has changed that would cause them not to be able to deliver.

Twice this week I’ve had a package come to the Poolville post office and they marked the package as out for delivery when I tracked it online. Then they lied and said they attempted to deliver but I wasn’t home and held the package at the post office for me to come pick up. I was home all day both days and they (did not attempt to deliver).

I don't "love" anything run by the Govt., but I can say that the staff here is always friendly and helpful. There have been some instances where mail for neighbor's addresses makes it into my box. No biggie, I drive it to their homes. It's a kind gesture...not hard. I know that many of the painful issues residents are experiencing are entirely the fault of realtors selling new homes in the area. Where we live there are new home listings showing each of the following variations, none are correct, therefore the postal service gets out of whack:Peaster 76088.....NOOOOOO!!!Peaster 76487......NOOOOOOWeatherford 76487......NOOOOOOPoolville 76088.....NOOOOOO!!!These realtors seem to attempt making Poolville, Peaster, when it's 100% inaccurate. A home being in Peaster ISD does not make it city of Peaster by default. In reality, the "true" area of Peaster is tiny. I am begging realtors all around to get their home listing correct. If the county assessor says it's Poolville, stop listing homes as Peaster. I promise, your buyers will have so much trouble with title and insurance if you don't get this right. Not to mention, taking me back to this post, what a nightmare y'all are creating for our local post office.

I love our post office staff. They are always so friendly. One day it was about to rain and Jaimee messaged me. She wanted to let me know I had a package she had sat out in my pasture. I love our postal people.

0 star is what I would give if I could. This office (Poolville, 76487) needs to be closed, indefinitely! Lazy employees inside, & carrier(s) as well. Just deliver the mail, packages too. Frustrating to know my taxes pay their salaries.

the postal service across the country has gone downhill over the last decade. poolville is no exception, tried to get a change of address they wouldn't do it. the reasoning is because I lived at a private club ( business address) and the business no longer exists. explain that one to me. so all my personal mail is now lost . if you live in this area I urge you to use the peaster post office or weatherford. they have some d*** country bumpkins working there and their policies seem to contradict with one another.
