I recently moved to the area and ended up having to bring both my cats in for different reasons two weeks apart. I could not be more delighted with Ponder Veterinary Hospital. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, the newly opened facility is clean and inviting, and Dr. Moriarty was very knowledgeable, courteous, and patient to answer all my questions. It gives me great peace of mind to know there is such a good facility close by!

Outstanding services. I was attached by a vicious pit bull that also attacked out toy poodle which died from he attack. Services at Ponder Vet were wonderful and very punctual in this emergency crisis. 100% appreciative for the care and compassion offered. Well-staffed with highly professional personnel. Can't say enough about them in offering great services.

This vet has gone above and beyond for my family and fur babies. It's a long story but we had a very difficult event occur with my babies while my husband was out of town and I was home alone and pregnant. The staff stepped up in ways they didn't have to make sure that we were taken care of and have done a great job every time. They are truly the best and value your business and taking care of your babies.

We love ponder vet. They have taken such good care of our Cavapoo puppy! From the nice receptionist to the veterinarians we’ve always been super pleased with our visit. They are very reasonably priced and can always get us an appointment within a few days! We know our fur baby Elsa is in good hands here.

Hands down the best Veterinarian carein the DFW area with my fur & feathered babies! The Veterinarians and office staff are some of the most caring people even when I've brought in a chicken. I live almost an hour away and they always find time in their schedule to fit me in even for a last minute appointment. Their prices aren't inflated and very reasonable. Every animal deserves this type of vet care!

I will never go to this Vet again.I arrived to see Dr. Moriarty (assigned Vet for my dog) standing at the front desk casually talking to staff. I checked in with my dog and within 3 minutes we were assigned an exam room. My dog and I waited over 45 minutes before the tech arrived to assess my dog. She documented my concerns, left the room and we waited another 35 minutes before Dr Moriarty and the tech arrived. I requested several test, Dr. M refused. One test requested was for an ear infection which he has. They were not genuine in their demeanor. The hostility I was subjected to was undoubtedly racially motivated. What else could I expect from a small town in Ponder, TX.

Great Veternarian with kind doctors and staff. Reasonably priced, with a country atmosphere. I have brought several dogs here and a chicken and have always had a great experience. They are usually pretty busy, so expect a normal wait.

Even though I had to go there to take my very sick chicken to them, they were very kind and helped me make the best choice for her.
