Date 06-18-2023 Time: 10:30 am to 10:50am Really upset with Deli staff
I stand there for 20 minutes, staff were looking at me and ignoring customers...
Seems like they are the only busy and customers are free.
Walmart should take action on horrible Deli staff service.

My mother went to purchase groceries at this store but was ultimately harassed out of the store and accused of stealing. She had to use the self checkout because there wasn’t enough people on staff. As she was doing the self-check out, store manager Ledjon approached my mother and stated that she had missed items in her cart and that they would need to ring everything up again to verify that she did not miss an item. My mother was not done scanning items when she was approached by the store manager. Ledjon then insinuated that my mother was stealing. At this point, my mom was offended by the whole ordeal and said that she would prefer to not purchase the items since they were going out of their way to accuse her of stealing and prevent her from completing her purchase and moving on with her day. Ledjon then shared that if my mother did not make the purchase, they would have to call the police. We will never step foot into this location again. The level of disrespect and utter incompetence is remarkable. Store managers should be helpful to customers, not bullies. Lastly, you wouldn’t have to ridicule the self checkout so bad if you’d hire staff so that your customers don’t have to do your job for you.

Neighborhood has gone downhill. Walmart won't stop thieves, now look at this...
Today I went over there I bought some water and chicken wings. I paid with my debit got a printed receipt and walked out so I can get back to work quickly. They flagged me down to see if I paid! Really? I go in there every day from work. I'm going to go in there and still water and chicken wings? I make more money than their general manager does. It's not my fault they were asleep and not paying attention.

After attempting to check myself out, the manager Ledjon (sp?) told me I was intentionally attempting to steal. I have never stolen anything. I first decided to let them check me out, but then Ledjon continued to accuse me of stealing. I then said fine, I’ll just leave everything. He then said if I didn’t pay for the items in my cart the police would be called to meet me in the parking lot. So, I let them check me out, I had missed $1.48 package of frozen vegetables. When they stopped me, I had two packages of meat in my hands that I had NOT scanned because they stopped me. I then returned everything. Everyone was kind except the manager. I’ve spent thousands and thousands at this store. I will NEVER purchase anything from Wal-Mart. I’m from Arkansas. Sam Walton is rolling over in his grave. I will forever be a Target gal going forward. If people are having to check themselves out, mistakes will be made. Embarrassing me and threatening police involvement if I chose to simply leave is unconscionable. The ONLY reason I was checking myself out is they had one checker and a lot of more elderly customers that needed help more than me.

Naseem in customer service went above and beyond to help me. My car wouldn’t start after parking it for Walmart pickup. Oscar took my groceries back in to stay cold. Naseem helped me determine what was wrong with my car and even started it for me. He also let them know to bring my groceries back out. He was very patient, friendly and helpful and I would probably still be stranded there if it wasn’t for him. Thank you ??

This is a good store. It is clean and well organized. I moved away from this area. Otherwise I would be a frequent shopper

I am writing to compliment and commend David Yousef for the absolutely outstanding customer service he provided yesterday, February 15th. David is in the Pharmacy Department at our Walmart Neighborhood Market on the southeast corner of Custer and Parker in Plano. Since we recently switched to the Walmart Pharmacy it took a bit longer than usual for our rather urgent prescriptions to filled. All through the process which included a number of phone calls made on our behalf to expedite the process, David kept us informed. His patient, pleasant and cheerful demeanor never wavered and while he was helping us he was able to multi-task to help other customers as he waited for information relative to our insurance. Thank you David for making a trying experience very pleasant.

I made this story my go-to grocery store and pharmacy several years ago, and it just keeps getting better and better. The first thing that blew me away (and I've NEVER been blown away by a grocery store) was the time and effort they put into scrubbing the floors until they gleamed. The whole building was brighter inside. Then they remodeled and it got even better. Every time I've had an interaction with an employee, it's been good. This place is a *jewel* in Plano. Well done, Walmart!

Easier to maneuver, less crowding, pharmacy is easier to accessDownside: only 2 free manned checkout-almost all are self checkout. That's a problem when you're disabled.

Stop replacing cashiers with machines. I’m not an employee and people need those jobs. Today there was no cashiers so I didn’t even have a choice. I’ll always choose a person over a computer. Keep it up and I’ll shop somewhere else.

Very nice ,clean, well stocked store. Lots of staff restocking shelves and lots of staff at checkout which was very nice to see.
