Today I visited the UPS Store located at 2300 W McDermott Dr. Ste 200, Plano, TX to ship a document to Mexico, a service I have regularly used with UPS for the past eight years. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by unprofessional attitude and what I perceive as racist behavior of an employee named Adriana .Adriana REPEATEDLY insisted that UPS does not ship to Mexico, despite my attempts to clarify that this contradicted my past experiences with the company. She consulted with a coworker, Robert, who confirmed that UPS does indeed ship to Mexico. However, Adriana persisted in expressing uncertainty and claimed she needed to check with her manager. This prolonged process was both frustrating and concerning. She focused in demonstrating why she could not ship my document.She left to talk on the phone to her manager, so her co-worker, Robert took over my request and continued entering my information in the system to ship my document without further arguments. Upon her return, Adriana stated that her manager had confirmed the ability to ship to Mexico. When I suggested that, in the future, she should consult her manager BEFORE providing conflicting information to customers, she displayed a lack of accountability and turned away without offering an apology.This incident is not an isolated one, as I had a similar experience at the same location approximately six years ago. It is disheartening to encounter the same misinformation and unprofessionalism after such a significant span of time.I urge UPS Corporate to take the following actions:Implement more comprehensive training programs for employees, emphasizing the importance of checking information before providing it to customers.Investigate and address potential racist behavior among employees promptly. Customer service representatives should treat all customers with respect and professionalism.Provide additional customer service training to ensure employees understand the significance of acknowledging and rectifying mistakes. An apology from Adriana for the multiple instances of misinformation would have been appreciated.Consider incorporating a detailed list of countries UPS ships to in your Policies and Procedures manual. This would empower employees to quickly and easily access basic information, especially when dealing with international shipments.As a paying customer, I believe UPS can do better in ensuring consistent and respectful service. I hope that my feedback contributes to the improvement of customer experiences at your UPS Store locations.

These guys shipped out a tablet PC with the wrong label and wouldn't reimburse me full price for the item when they lost it. If you're using them for returns, use Kohls or another option if available.

I have been to tons of UPS stores across Houston area and now Dallas area and by far this location is the best! Every single person who works their is polite and provides nothing but outstanding customer service.

This UPS store at Custer road and McDermott charges 2 bucks to print an UPS shipping labelLong story... A seller sent me shipping labels PDF to return. I called this store before going and told them I would need to print ups label. They never said anything about the fee and after going there I find this fee.Both FedEx and USPS can print labels free if needed. UPS customer experience is going downhill both while sending and getting packages.

Where do I start? Every Store has its problems, but this one is as perfect as it gets. If they have personnel issues? I would not know; everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. I have seen them deal with difficult people, and they have the patience of a saint. I have had a "BOX/ADDRESS" here for over 5 years, and anyone following my reviews, know I am very hard on bad business. The owner is simply wonderful and kind - the manager (like all managers, if they are good) is friendly / stern / professional and focused on the business at hand. I wish I could find a manager like this for my business! I will be moving to another city - and for the first time in my life, feel sad, to have to part ways with this UPS. God bless everyone there and your families.

This store, and the entire staff are absolutely fantastic… And completely set apart from any other UPS Store I’ve used. Incredible people, skills, amazing efficiency, and a willingness to work with the customer to get the shipping situation handled. Much appreciated Olivia in particular. Thanks so much.

I have been in many UPS stores. I always print out label at home and drop off my package, so I come in and out the store very quickly. But this UPS store at McDermott and Custer Rd is very special. Staff there are so efficient and friendly that I want to write them a good review. I am wondering where the owner find these good people, seriously.

Just came from here dropping off Spectrum boxes. Love the friendliness and professional staff. We live closer to another location but great customer service brings us back for all our shipping needs.
