These stores are franchises and this particular store will not follow the UPS Access Point rules stipulated by UPS, You will likely not be able to ship or pick up packages if there is anything out of the ordinary on your shipment.
In response to owners claim: see what I mean UPS Access Point requirements allow for multiple options in contrast to what the owner said:
Option 2: Present a government-issued photo ID where the last name matches the last name on the package. If the address on the ID doesn't match the address on the package, please bring proof of residency that matches the address on the package--for example, a current utility bill.
Option 3: Present a government-issued photo ID where the full address or name on the ID matches the full address or name on the package. If the last name or full address doesn't match, you will need to provide the package tracking number to the UPS Access Point representative.
Option 4: Present a government-issued photo ID and your shipper-provided package release code (if required).*
They don't know the rules or follow them. However I had issues shipping which they are also just as bad at and these people are far from "more than happy" to do anything for you.

Needed a notary service for financial paperwork, and received excellent service. $10 fee for notary, plus $5 each for two witnesses (employees of the store) = $20 total. You can save the witness fees by bringing two people yourself to be witnesses. Don't forget your driver's license to prove your identity. Also sent the documents afterwards by 2nd Day Air. Highly recommend.

This location has fast and friendly staff. The line for Amazon returns always moves pretty quickly. They have it down to a science. :) Thank you for always being professional!

Didn't have a good experience here. 1 of the representatives acting over smart and showing attitude. Was not helped/advised appropriately. Went to other ups store at springcreek and 75. Received good support from them and got the work done with no added expense.

I've used this UPS Store a number of times over the years. And every time I found them to be fast, efficient, professional -- and cordial on top of that.

Usually when I go here, the customer service is excellent. To the red head whom obviously needs to be retrained...
If a customer comes in frantic because they accidentally packed an item in a box, you DON'T YELL AT THE CUSTOMER STATING THAT YOU ALREADY STARTED BOXING AND WON'T DO IT!!! YOU SAY IM SORRY HOW CAN I HELP!!! UNDERSTAND????
PLEASE GET A JOB THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE CUSTOMERS, BECAUSE YOU ARE AWFUL.

I’m a regular at this location and the staff is great. Matt is awesome, he really helped me out during an emergency with delivering a package to another state and I’m so thankful! Ben is great as well! He’s always helped me with my returns even if its late! Appreciate everyone!

I visited UPS store #6691 for the first time yesterday. What a pleasant experience! I am disabled and use the DART paratransit system for transportation. The manager, Matt, met me at the door, opened the door for me and made sure I was comfortable while he very expertly handled my business. I didn’t know how long it would take to handle my business, so I scheduled my return trip on DART to allow me an hour in the store. I had two packages to return, one a “Happy Return” and the other by mail. I handed Matt my packages and showed him my QR code. In about 60 seconds he thanked me and told me I was finished. Wow! I explained that I would need to sit on my walker in the store for about an hour while I waited for the DART taxi to pick me up. Matt said that since I lived in the neighborhood, he could give me a ride home! What a generous gesture. I accepted his offer and in 5 minutes I was home.
I can’t say enough about store #6691 located at 2024 W. 15th street in Plano. Not only is the customer service great, but it is a very clean and well-organized store with so many services available from shipping, mailing, printing and many other services. It is a one-stop-shop for so many of your needs. The other employee I observed was also politely and efficiently helping customers.
Needles to say, I had a very good experience!

We have been using this UPS store location since our previously location closed. Every staff member at this location is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help with any questions or issues we may come across locating or sending packages. With our company, we are at UPS almost daily and could not be more pleased with the service this location provides. Mason and Abraham were the most recent staff members we worked with, but everyone at that location is excellent! **Even if there is a long line, they are quick and efficient and get everything taken care of without error.

UPS #6707 Brandy and AshleyExcellent PATIENT people. Definitely went above and beyond to help me ship a extremely large heavy box. Hadto make phone calls to get approval but didn't just turn this hepless customer away.THANKS! THANKS! THANKS!
