Update: While my experience was disappointing, I appreciate that Ulta reached out to me and wants to improved their checkout process.
I went to the Ulta in Plano yesterday and the cashier wouldn't to ring up my purchase without an account with my phone, name, etc. I told her I didn't want an account but she said I had to have an account to pay. Since I can buy the same product at Sephora or Nordstrom, I left. It's an interesting business practice to turn away a $50 purchase.

I just got my hair done by Emily and she did fabulous. I asked for a more subtle/caramel full highlight and she did exactly that. Super sweet girl and took her time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I never write reviews but I just need to shout out the hair stylist Emily. She took her time and paid attention to all the small details. When I tell you my hair hasn’t looked this good in a longggg time. She also added special details to help me style my hair easier day to day, which is so important with my busy schedule. Also I’m shy and she made sure to make conversation to help me feel comfortable with her. Will definitely be coming back!

Kathy was the most helpful and knowledgable person that’s ever helped me at Ulta. She went above and beyond by helping me exchange makeup I had bought the day before at Ulta on Plano Rd where there were only two people working. Kathy helped match me with the perfect makeup for my skin tone and helped me to understand why our skin may need a different regimen as we age. She recommended some great products that I’m excited about trying. Thank you Kathy! She is the reason I will be back b

Everyone in here was so rude! The guy that helped me put a foundation on me and my sister commented that maybe that wasn’t the best foundation for me and he told her it didn’t matter what she thought because I had eyes and could tell for myself if I liked it. Then while checking out we heard a couple catty comments between the employees talking down to each other. Go to Sephora across the street!!

I asked for a later appointment because I work full days. The stylist had a bad attitude and made multiple comments about having to stay late and the inconvenience. Very unprofessional in my opinion and also not my fault if your salon scheduled it. I am disappointed in my experience.

RE SALON: Worst haircut I’ve ever had. They literally did not blend any of the cut - my face framing was so choppy I do not recommend ever going here unless you’re getting a trim or know your stylist. I actually cried leaving the salon.

Just spent $650 on the Dyson Airwrap and my cashier could not have been more rude. She did not have a name tag but she was kindly helping out a customer next to me and everytime she spoke to me her demeanor would change and she was incredibly rude. All of the other employees were great but she was awful.
