“I was helped by Chris for my timing belt on Honda odyssey. Quotes me a price and was able to get me in immediately and done within the day. Did a full inspection on my van and provided quotes for each service. They let me pick and choose what to have done as some were services I can do myself. Very satisfied with the service and work. Can check around, but won’t be sorry having your vehicle serviced here.”
“I’ve been coming to Luxur for a couple of years now, starting with the pre purchase inspection for a car and then two yearly services for that car. They are always super professional and thorough and never pushy. After each service they will walk through every detail, showing you before and after photos of all the work that was done. Their prices are very fair considering the market rates for the makes they service. Overall, they are a trustworthy shop that I would recommend to anyone.”

“Not putting any stars yet. I took it in with transmission problems, and they charged 400 to fix it. But the very next day on the way to work, it started doing the same thing but worse. My car is back in their shop and I will see how this is handled and edit accordingly.
It is now a few days after I got my car back, repair was 2600 and change. This is about average for a transmission, though. Also far less expensive that even an aftermarket new transmission.
4 stars since they missed this the first time.”

“I’ve used Joe and Bruce since 1997. They are the most honest, reasonably priced mechanics In The ENTIRE DFW METROPLEX. They do all repairs not just transmissions. In almost 30 years I’ve never had an issue with their services or parts. They stand behind their work and never try to sell you something that you don’t need. If I could sum this shop up briefly, I’d say “honest, prompt and professional.” I don’t live in DFW anymore but when people from my hometown ask for a good mechanic, Eagle is on the top of a very short list. “I had an excellent experience at Driver’s Edge Auto Repair today. I was greeted at the door by Steve, who immediately took care of me even though I arrived without an appointment. He let me pull my car right up to the front and performed an on-the-spot inspection. The diagnostics included clear photos and detailed explanation, and he quoted me a fair, transparent price for the repair.
They took the car in right away and even provided a complimentary ride home while the work was being done. Angel drove me back and forth—friendly, professional, and right on time. The total turnaround was about two hours, and everything was handled efficiently and respectfully.
They mentioned that I was due for an oil change, but when I told them I prefer to change my own oil, they didn’t pressure me or try to upsell anything. They only recommended what was necessary and ended up replacing one tire and doing an alignment, exactly as needed.
Overall, I felt well cared for from start to finish. Honest service, fair pricing, professional communication, and genuinely good people.
