The phrase "I'm not rich enough to buy cheap things ” is an expression that suggests it is often more economical in the long run to purchase or pay for higher-quality, more expensive items rather than opting for cheaper, lower-quality alternatives. Unfortunately, this lesson cost me $2,400 at The Auto Shop. This price included my countless visits to the shop after the initial “fix.” And BTW, you guessed right, the car still does the same thing. However, according to the professionals at the shop, the car is fixed regardless of the second opinion from an authorized Honda dealer. According to the Honda dealer head gasket needs replacement, but they refuse to discuss it at the shop. If you value your money, car, and time, you will think about this phrase above. Too bad I didn’t follow the idea that while the initial cost of the more expensive item may be higher, it will typically last longer, require fewer replacements, and potentially function better than the cheaper version, making it a wiser investment despite the higher upfront price tag. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I have been visiting this shop since 2014. I guess ten years is long overdue for a change.
Added on 9/2/2024 : If you want to make things right, you have my number and can always call and make things right. Just do what you say that you will do .

Recently I had a scheduled Oil and Filter service. I was able to speak to someone before service was done to ask a few questions I had. They also checked my A/C at my request. After that was done someone talked to me about a couple of things that will be needed in the future. I was there only about an hour. And also, the entire job was texted to me while I was there with pictures. Nice addition. I was pleased with the service as usual. Good job!

Such a great place! I was having trouble with my AC in the 106° heat, they got me in immediately!
I had just driven away from Toyota frustrated because I had made an “appointment” (only to get in line behind at least 15 other cars) and when I showed up for the “appointment” they didn’t know anything about what I had scheduled. When I tried to explain the situation, the man looked at me like I was crazy.
Instead when I went to The Auto Shop, I didn’t even finish describing what was wrong with my vehicle and the man nodded his head because he understood what I was saying. Immediate relief! They also gave me a ride home with my van so I wouldn’t have to swap car seats around, gave clear communication via text with a quote for what they diagnosed the problem to be, with the option to accept or decline. I did decline some things and never once was pressured to do them. They took great care of my vehicle and me while I waited. We’ve come here for 6+ years since we moved to DFW for our vehicles and I’m so thankful we were recommended to them!

****No Integrity with this shop anymore****
Over priced me for an alternator of 649.99
Was told this came from the dealership
Looked online and found the same part from Ford dealership alternator brand new 350.19 with tax..
Also asked for a diagnostic of my electrical issues and to check fuses and paid 160.00 for them to tell me what I already knew.
Sad I’ve done business with them for years even to be shorted in the full diagnostics after explaining that I have some interior shortages. Do your research on auto parts because Lupe Flores will add additional cost to your parts.
May God have mercy on your souls.
