Stopped on a Sat at 2:30pm for an oil change, no other cars in sight & they were not busy at all. After a few minutes a young female walks up to the guy up top & he asks if she did a list of things. I believe she was new & didn't seem confident in her responses. They then asked me to startup my car & rev it up to 2000 rpm's so they could see if oil is spilling out. Wth? They didn't even change my windshield wiper fluid or clean my wimdshield. Drove away with a bad feeling & would not recommend this location to anyone. Spent $135 for oil change & new air filter but don't feel good about it at all.

This location overcharges you for an oil change on purpose and then to avoid pushback they lie and say it will take weeks for a refund. I wouldn’t trust them with a toy car again let alone my vehicle. .

I’ve never had such a poor service experience.
I took my car in for an oil change, and the employees recommended that I get an AC charge and coolant replaced, which I agreed to. One week later, my AC completely stopped working. So, I went back to this location to have them take a look at my car and see if there was an issue with the initial service, something was incorrect, etc. I was met with extremely rude and argumentative pushback from a horrible employee (didn’t catch his name). He refused to look at my car and he eventually stormed away. He was very immature and childish.
I would never recommend Take 5 Oil Change for any car service.

I was very please with the professionalism and great service at the Take 5 on 15th street.

I have been in this location three different times to get an oil change. The first time they legitimately were backed up. The second time a few days later, they were having equipment trouble, and the third time I went they ran out of oil filter and had to sell me a synthetic oil filter which was much more expensive one. I had no idea there was even a synthetic oil filter, but I googled it. I asked for a I asked for an offset due to their low inventory due to their lack of inventory and the answer was no. The technicians were very friendly however, I feel like Inventory was low and equipment not maintained. They did a good job, but I paid about 25% more for the same oil change I had previously.

I'm a regular customer at this location. I drive from Allen Texas because of the hospitality but this encounter seemed off. The vibe that I received was like I was inconveniencing the two young men. I don't know that it was racial or mad because I said no to the upsell or maybe just didn't want to be at work. I'm usually guided out when finished but not this time. I had to carefully drive out of the shop. I will visit again sure but if you change your staff.

Took 40 minutes so I could my oil change they state ten minutes I also had a 50% coupon from the last time they messed up on my service same thing happen they didn’t top off my fluids stated it wasn’t working didn’t put air in my tires I had to tell them to reset my oil light this is the second take 5 I have tried bad business

( 15th and independence) Most time this location never disappoints however this is the 3rd time that I have arrived at the time they should be open I waited 20 min finally someone showed up. If you can’t have staff here at the time that you open then maybe you should change your hours. as a single mom of three my schedule is super tight. This type of customer service is unacceptable. Once I was finally greeted after the technician taking his sweet time opening the garages (8 min) was not apologetic at all no sense of urgency to make it right whatsoever, Dj had very cocky attitude. I asked what time the shop opened he answers 7:00 I said ok what time is it he replied , 7:18……rolled his eyes and asked me if I still wanted the oil change??? Like really dude …… was the worst experience. Was talking to me as if I was the issue …if you can’t be here at 7:00am then maybe you should consider another shift

provided all the stated oils that were offered by Take 5.
I chose Economy.
Felix proceeded to state in a threatening manner meant to discourage me from choosing Economy. By saying " Just so you know I will Have to Notate your choice to go against the recommended grades of oil."
I said ok is Economy not on this chart you just showed me. Felix said yes. I asked why are you stating it like you are trying to get me to change my selection; isn't Economy one of the Options.
Felix said yes and I'm just letting you know its not recommended and if you want to take that attitude (I had no attitude. I had questions that required clarification). You can leave.
I informed him I am aware I can leave and let me speak to the manager.
Felix was all kinds of charismatic in saying he was the manage. I said ok I'd like a card. He said I can Google corporate. Which is what I am doing next.
What a wonderful afternoon its going to be. But this D.O.D Family has the time today.
I would urge you whether you have the time or not to avoid this unprofessional location: 3057 W 15th St TX

The Take 5 folks in Plano did a great job of providing stellar customer service with a kind attitude. Not pushy to sale anything, honest about the oil change needed, and very professional. Highly recommend the location on 15th and Independence.
