“I am an owner in a local fitness studio called Body Machine Fitness. I recommend all of my clients to Dallas running company because I know they will be taken care of.Over the years I have been to pretty much all of the running stores in the metroplex. They all carry pretty much the same shoes, but the experience can be wildly different from one store or location to another. In my experience, many employees don’t know what they are talking about. It’s as if they aren’t runners or haven’t been trained in anatomy. It ends up being a very inconsistent experience. It used to be where I would recommend that somebody go to such and such store but only see one particular person because they know what they are talking about, but if they are not there, then leave.Here, everyone is thoroughly trained and extremely patient. They will work with you as long as you need to to make sure they get everything perfect for you. I think it’s extremely smart that they start with a 3-D body scan of your foot to understand your anatomy and which shoe manufactures might fit your feet the best as a starting point. I think this removes a lot of guest work out of the equation. Then, they analyze your gait and recommend orthotics (special corrective insoles) if you need them. As an example, recently one particular shoe I really loved from ASICS is no longer made anymore, so I had to find a different shoe that works for me. I spent over an hour in the store trying on different shoes… after I settled on a pair, honestly I still wasn’t sure though if these would work for me. It’s really hard to tell when you’re inside of the store. But I bought them and then did a few workouts. I ended up not liking them and I was able to bring them back and exchange them with no questions asked. To me, that’s amazing.”
“This will be a long one so TL;DR: Needed more than just a stick, ended up with an expert “fitting” for the right cue. I could not be happier with the service and merchandise. I’ve recently decided to try pool again; first step after playing with the junk at the bar was to get a decently priced, playable beginners stick, that would not fall apart within a year of purchase or warp out when it inevitably gets put back into the closet after 6 or so months of use. I looked all over the Dallas area for a billiards place and only found this one, my initial thought was to attempt to purchase from an online source due to the low user rating, but a stick is not something you buy online, and not all ratings are equal, so I decided to give it a shot in person. I’m extremely thankful that I did. Upon entering I was greeted by Courtney Stick (her real name), and laid out my requirements. She then immediately started asking questions I didn’t know I needed an answer to. Eg, did I want a linen wrap, leather wrap, or bare stick. I had no idea, so she told me about the pros and cons of each. I had no idea what weight I needed for my stick. I always assumed it was a 21 or higher, turns out that assumption is why I kept hitting below my potential. She spent at least an hour with me going over every detail that may or may not play into finding the right stick within my budget, to include letting me play a few games on their in store demo table using each of the sticks I was interested in, each time helping me narrow the focus down on what I needed. I was also instructed on proper care and maintenance and storage. In the end I left with one of the least expensive sticks in the house, it was perfect for my needs, it was genuinely sharp looking, it was the right weight, it was the right wrap, and it was the right feel. At no point did she try to upsell me, but she made some very compelling arguments regarding certain accessories that every pool player should have… so of course I bought them. Sadly, when I went to use the stick for the first time there was a slight wobble. It had only been a few days, “I knew this was going to happen” I thought, and dreaded it, but called to speak to Courtney to explain the situation. I was asked to come in so the issue could be fixed. There was absolutely ZERO fuss involved. They stand alllllll the way behind their products, and arranged for a full refund. On my return I had the privilege of being served by Partick Hammontree. We went over a lot of the things I hadn’t considered prior to buying the first stick, like my expectations of play, we further refined my weight requirements, went into a deeper dive on wraps or bare back, and talked a lot about deflection and the various sticks that are designed to mitigate it. It was yet another hour of being taught how to buy the correct stick that would last me longer than a few months, and that would be playable well into the future with proper care and maintenance. I ended up returning the original stick and purchasing a higher end one that feels like it was literally made for me. It was a great experience, made so by the professionals that took my every question seriously, made sure I was armed with better questions, answered those, and made sure that I understood everything before letting me walk out the door. I have every confidence that the service after the sale will be there well beyond the life of this stick, as all of my billiards needs will be handled here exclusively. Thanks Courtney and Patrick. “I brought in a broken club today, looking to replace the shaft. Instead of high grossing me like the PGA store tried to do, he took a few mins. and gave me options; spend x$'s rebuilding your club or I can sell you one just like it for less. Of course, I opted for the complete club. Not to besmirch the other place, but their minimum to change the shift and grip was at $100. Clubfinders can do it for way less and always have a comparable shaft in the moderate price range.”

The only thing that really bugged me was the cashier asking me if I want a membership. Even though it's a one time payment, I really don't come here enough to make it worth it, and the cashier kept asking if I wanted a membership even when I said no at least 3 or 4 times, which was frustrating because I only needed one thing.
Overall, it's a nice place, and they've got some great inventory. I know it's their job, but I wish they were less pushy about the membership, as it left me feeling frustrated after my visit.”

“I was apprehensive about coming to this location after reading all the negative reviews. I've been a Fabletics member for over 5 years but this is my first time visiting this location. I was pleasantly impressed with the help around the store. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. I had a couple ladies help me figure out which leggings were an outfit. Another employee helped me get my room started while I kept looking.The membership does require a card on file and you must cancel before the 5th day of the month. I set the reminder on my calendar every month it's pretty much ingrained in me now, ha! Always skip the month if there's nothing I want.”
