I recently visited my local Salvation Army store and witnessed an incident that left me feeling quite unsettled. As I browsed the aisles, I noticed a worker with visible tattoos who was diligently sorting through clothes. While I understand that everyone has their own personal style and that tattoos are a form of self-expression, my concern arose when I saw this employee setting aside certain items for another individual who seemed to have a personal connection with them.
While I recognize the importance of community and relationships, it felt unfair to see items being prioritized for one person over others who were also in need. The Salvation Army is known for its mission to help those in need, and it seemed contrary to that mission to witness favoritism in action. Everyone deserves a fair chance to access the resources available, regardless of personal connections.

I’ve been going here for years and usually never had a problem however my past few trips have all resulted in the cashier telling me one of my nice clothing items doesn’t have a tag and they take it away. This hasn’t happened even once in the past 4-5 years and now it’s happened 3 times in a row.
I’m starting to think they have a staff member who is deliberately leaving tags off nicer items so they can go in and poach them after their shift ends. Its happened too many times to be a coincidence at this point.

It's way overpriced. The clothes do not seem to be laundered. If a tag comes off then they will not let you purchase the item. They assume you ripped off the tag and don't know what it costs. I found a Michael kors bag and they wanted $50 for it. It was filthy. They don't realize that you can buy a brand new one for Michael Kors at Ross for that. The furniture is nice though. If I had a house I would buy furniture there

I've already stopped shopping at good will because they seemed to have lost their good will. Now this place, EVERY SINGLE ITEM IS MINIMUM PRICED AT $3.99! No matter if it looks like it needs to be sold for 50 cents or a dollar. Once I noticed that and caught on, I took a picture of the items I want to find one day and chunked up the deuces! I absolutely will not give an organization like this my money ever again. I understand they do a lot for the community and that is cool but sorry, I can't support the price thing. Just my opinion.

Something for everyone . Their furniture clothing and shoes are overvalued as their priced are higher than should be for used old items. Prices need to be reconsidered for the crowd that visits you. An ID is required to be presented when buying stuff even if you enter a pin number for your card, or tap your phone,A line at checking out is created almost every time, moving slow cause that ID check out requirement. Should reconsider this!

Found a few cute things but it’s mostly overpriced items that are not in good condition. Only one cashier working…and very slowly at that. No effort to get anyone else to work a cash register. “Green” is the color of the week but I’m pretty sure they pulled it all off of the shelves because I didn’t see a single “green” item. I know some thrift stores will do that to avoid giving discounts.

it smelt bad. i was there for 45 minutes. there wasn’t a huge selection of clothing and i wasn’t very up to date. I finally had found one good thing and went to the register to purchase. i was immediately met with a rude respite from the cashier telling me i should’ve taken a hanger off and saved her time in a rude tone. I was purchasing one cheap item, and was asked for my ID. They never made it clear that I needed one, seeing as I was under the age of 16. In all other stores i have been to they didn’t ask for my ID for clothes except Salvation Army. She told me that I couldn’t buy anything even though I had offered to show my proof of myself on my phone. The customer service was appalling and I do not recommend coming here at all. I was very disappointed, and don’t waste your time.

I was very excited to visit this store. I didn't expect everything to be amazing but I was hoping I would find some good stuff. I was wrong. Nothing there was good. All the clothes had stains and the store smelt so bad. I don't recommend coming here. Don't waste your time. The costumer service was so bad. The workers were very rude and unkind. They had such a rude attitude towards me.Don't come here its not worth it. Ive been to so many other better places. I was very disappointed!!!
