Tina is the best beautician I have ever had. I am 71 years old and I have had beauticians in 4 states and Tina is the best I have had. Gray hair is hell to control and she is patient, warm, caring and a joy to be around. Whatever she does to my hair is like manic. A damn shame. I slept on giving a review when my emotions weren't so high, but after a night's sleep and waking up in the morning to review my hair, she earned this. I am a 23-year-old, good-looking woman with a career so I deserve to look young, sexy and professional. But the hairstyle she gave me has me looking like a lead cast member from Boy Meets World or every "edgy" white girl in a late '90s - early '00s Rom-Com, looking for love. Some of the advice she gave along the way was decent like my hair being dry and needing a trim. I agreed to that. The pre- alopecia diagnosis, was a straight up lie (which I knew). Went to my dermatologist and none of that was found true. And btw, my dermatologist is a black-owned franchise that specializes in black skin . As a stylist you are supposed to be able to manage between cutting hair for health but putting hair in an actual style until it grows out to the way the client wants it. There's a middle ground between health and a cute style, I've had stylists do it before. Her first attempt at trimming/cutting my hair, it was literally a shag. I thought that maybe it would turn out better flat ironed, but she assured me that it would flat iron the same way she cut it. Wow, did she really expect me to want to look that way? She actually did. So we decided on an asymmetric cut which I soon found out she didn't know how to do either. She had cut my hair so much, there was no drop between the sides, so now I am left looking like a little boy and no difference in the sides. She wanted to go higher with the asasymmetric cut but I had to stop her because she was just cutting her way up and still didn't know what the hell she was doing. When she was done I basically looked like I had a bowl and she gave me the attitude that implies, "Well what else do you want?" To look like a grown ass woman! You give the "this is all I can do for now" cut to a 14-year-old who doesn't know any better and whose mom is paying for the cut anyway. Not my grown ass. Now I'm $165 out for a bunch of bullshit basically. I paid and left in tears. My edges weren't even slicked down at the very least. She put a little bit of bullshit balm on it and didn't even brush it in. I woke up this morning and hate the way I look. I look like a soccer mom. Unfortunately this is how it will look until it grows out. Luckily my hair grows pretty fast but I should never feel like this, especially for what I paid for. The ladies who were in there while I was, idk why they were happy with their results either, they still looked very basic when they left, like somebody's bald-headed mammy. Especially if the have suposedly been going to her "for years". Prices: Tina also had the nerve to say, " I forgot to tell you, the prices went up" when I got there. How convenient. Note to Tina: You are a scam artist and should be ashamed of yourself. Don't @ me, I don't want to hear from you ever again.

My experience with Tina at Salon Care was definitely a positive one. I have very thick curly natural hair that needed alot of tlc. Tina explained what needed to be done to bring my hair to healthy state. She took her time with my hair care and the outcome was over the top! Very satisfied is an excellent way to rate my new stylist. I'm definitely going back!

Ms Tina, is the definition of a professional. She truly is passionate and knowledgeable about what she does and it shows. I initially wasn't sure if I would be a return client, but after my first consultation I'm hooked. I completely trust her with all my hair care needs. My hair has NEVER been this healthy. I always wore weaves or braids, but now I love rocking my own hair. I highly recommend Salon Care By Tina.

I had been searching for a new Hair Care Professional when I first moved to Dallas in 2007. I tried a few Stylist and was very disappointed. The first time I walked into Tina's Salon I was very pleased. Her knowledge and professional approach made me feel very comfortable and relieved. My hair was damaged and very dry My hair is very healthy now. It grows much faster and I no longer need a relaxer. Tina was truly a breath of fresh air for me. A women's hair is her glory. Thank you Tina.
