It really is a good place for kids to learn about practical life lessons and pre-school education.

From the reviews, it sounds like this is a great school, but they really need to replace the flag out front. It is so faded and tattered you can no longer even see the logo so it just looks like a white flag of surrender. I cringe every time I drive by. They spent a bunch of money recently to plant palm trees, and a new flag would probably be a fraction of that cost. :-)

I started my daughter here in June when she was 5 months old. I was a little nervous, as any parent is, to drop my baby off at daycare for the first time. Well, my fears were totally unfounded. Every morning my 18-month-old daughter leaps out of my arms and into her teacher’s with a huge grin on her face. That’s all you need to know right there! I am so impressed with all the teachers and the director. Any issues or questions are immediately brought to my attention as well as her accomplishments (and any silly antics she got up to!). Her teacher often texts me with videos and pictures of her learning new skills like mastering crawling or sorting vegetables by color. I’m continuously impressed with the curriculum they come up with for even the youngest students! I speak casually with the director almost every day during pick up—no appointment necessary. This place is a godsend. As mentioned earlier, my child literally jumps OUT of my arms to go to school, what better endorsement do you need?

We recently switched from Precious Beginnings to another school. Under prior management the school was the perfect place for our two kids to learn and grow. In the past year (prior to covid starting, during covid, and beyond) there has been such little communication I needed to find somewhere that was responsive to our needs and requests. The only reason we stayed as long as we did is because we LOVE the teachers (they are the reason for my two stars)! Those ladies have essentially raised my boys and we love them to pieces, but everything else was too much to handle for me.Examples:1. Asking multiple times for receipts of payment and not receiving it for weeks.2. Requesting lunch/snack menus and never receiving them. My children are both on a restricted diet and I needed to send replacements but was unsure of what to send in order to line up/match what the other children were eating. This is a big deal for kids! They want to eat the same things their friends are eating!3. I had asked several times for daily "behavior reports" for my child (who was apparently acting up) so we could line up discipline at home with what was needing to happen at school, these were never received.4. We never got to see or talk to the teachers personally. This goes back to number 3, where I couldn't know what was happening in the classroom until my kid was now that naughty one and I had no idea.5. Our rates were raised but the care of the facility was declining. I understand the financial strains of covid coming into place, and I wouldn't have minded the raised rates, but I felt like we were paying more for less. Every time we drove up for drop off/pick up we get to see the chair propping the garbage can doors open. The weeds in the gardens are taller than the broken sign out front (which was recently fixed, I'll give you that). If the flag is worn out, can it be taken down? There's a pile of "stuff" to the right side of the building, why?Prior management made Precious Beginnings feel like home. It's definitely changed. I hope improvements can be made because this was such a great school.**edit as I can’t reply**It seems because of my review you’ve encouraged others to post high ratings to cover mine up, as everything before that was getting pretty old.•I know of other parents who have left because of the same issues, it wasn’t just me. Our issue was not the exception.•My kids were coming home talk about all the shows they watched every day. That’s not a Montessori folks, that’s a daycare.•Glad it took my review for you to get the place cleaned up. I hope it stays that way!•In my original post, I did talk about my love for the teachers! My issue is the decline in Montessori teaching and communication that has NOT happened in the past year and few months.

I have one son who has completed PBMA and an infant son who just started there, and we absolutely LOVE them! They are so wonderful to my children, and it's great to know my kids are taken care of so well. I can't say enough great things about them! Highly recommend!

Absolutely a terrific preschool. Great value, great education, and small enough to provide a truly personalized approach for a kid.

Our son started attending PBMA at 3 months of age - I should note that he was born 6 weeks premature and I was a nervous wreck going back to work! The teachers and staff took such wonderful care of him and treated him as if he was their own. He's since moved to the toddler room and is thriving - he's making friends and doesn't want to leave when we pick him up...I take that as a good sign! Additionally, PBMA is teaching him so much more than I ever imagined was possible at such a young age. It's evident that attending this school has contributed to the betterment of his socialization skills, education, and overall well being. We are confident that he'll be better prepared when he begins kindergarten because of his time spent at PBMA and can't thank the staff enough for implementing an organized and loving environment for our little guy to grow.

Love this school! We tried a few before going to PBMA after a referral from our nextdoor app. Immediately my 3 y/o found a friend.. not when she started but as soon as we walked in the door for a tour. Both my 3 y/o and 18m old attend the school. My youngest’s teacher does her hair everyday, something she does not allow us to do at home. We are lucky to get it brushed. She will come home with intricate updo’s and I wonder what kind of magic they use on her. Dance class is offered at the school which made my life so much easier! They potty trained my oldest. We thought we had her pretty well potty trained around 2 but by 2 and a half she revolted and refused to wear anything but a pull up wanted nothing to do with ‘going like a big girl.’ About a month after starting PBMA she was 100% potty trained. Both of my girls seem to really enjoy their time here... Even if it’s a fight to get them there some mornings.. They are always in a good mood when I pick them up. My oldest’s quote almost daily is “I had a good day at school and made good choices.” Then proceeds to list who her friends were that particular day. It takes a lot to leave your kids somewhere and other places have not worked out for us. I have not once been worried about them here. And although we love the education that they receive, the peace of mind, is probably most valuable to us.

I am extremely happy with Precious Beginning Montessori Academy. My kid is going there for more than one year and I have noticed immense change, not only in her academic performance but also in her social as well as other required skills. She has also improved in her etiquette and manners.Initially she was reluctant in her studies but soon started taking interest. Thanks to the hard-work of her class teachers. Homework sheets and other class worksheets are provided at the end of every week so that you can get an idea of what is being taught in the whole week. Special classes are there for the students who are interested in dance and football. They also arrange meetings with parents to report the progress of the kid, at regular intervals. All the special days are celebrated in the school so that the kids can learn about them. Various activities are organized and sometimes parents are also requested to participate to encourage the kids. The school is spacious, with great ambiance and a big play area. The after school programs and the summer camps are packed with various academic, games and art & craft activities. The entire teaching staff as well as other members of the school, specially the Director, are very professional, co-operative and friendly. The best quality of them is that they don't hide if they observe anything wrong your kid, to be in good books of the parent, rather they immediately inform us and also guide us on how to handle it at home, apart from playing their own part. They really take good care of each and every student. Thumps up to the whole team of PBMA.
