If you are going to this bank expecting help, go to another location. The virtual model here is not helpful.

PNC is the worst bank ever. 18 months after they purchased my previous bank and transitioned all my accounts, things still don't work right. I have spent countless hours at the branch and on the phone. We have moved all of our personal accounts to another bank but the complexity of migrating the corporate accounts has kept us there. After yet another hour on the phone with an unresolved issue that requires yet another trip to a branch, I've decided it's time to bit the bullet and just finish moving everything to a bank that has the systems and technology to match their marketing. Note that the staff - both branch and online - is great, they just don't have the technology to back them up.

We set up our business accounts with BBVA and then once PNC bought it then all went downhill. Customer Service became nonexistent. We have an account manager assigned to us which does not follow up and spends hours on the phone with us setting up additional accounts and still never sets them up. Services, such as notary, will only notarize PNC documents. This is something they should tell you when you call and ask them about their notary and setting up an appointment. Found that out today when we took time off to run over to have documents notarized and they said they could not since they are not PNC. Also my husband asked to use the restroom while we waited and was shown to the restroom. When my husband came out he let Daniel know the sink was not working and he said, "I know, we have a ticket in for that". Really?! You know people can't wash their hands, but you don't say anything???? Thats so gross and even more gross because the employees are not washing their hands. When the other gentleman came out to let us know they could not notarize the documents my husband explained that it was a stupid policy and the gentleman was very snide. My husband said no wonder you have a 1.5 approval rating and he said he could not change it that and I said, oh yes you can change what people say about you. Then across the room, a lady came walking up fast yelling saying thank you for your opinion (keep in mind she interrupted me and was not part of the conversation). I said do not raise your voice at me. This is bad customer service and now I am upset and raising my voice. Heading to Capital One now to set up my business accounts and then gladly closing my PNC accounts. Also one of the accounts they never set up correctly got closed by them because they never told us they completed the set and they are changing us for closing the account. Really???? They need help!

Love this bank. Everyone is always welcoming when I come in, I never have to sit and wait in long lines, and the lobby is always clean and quiet. I never have any issues handling my banking business as I have at other banks in the past. I own my own business so have many different types of transactions I need to do, and they always make sure everything runs smoothly for me. Thanks guys!!

0 stars. One of their ATMs malfunctioned when I was trying to deposit cash. It cancelled my transaction without giving the cash back to me. It ate over $1100. I was depositing large bills and wanted to go inside to make my deposit with a live teller but apparently this is a "cashless" location and they only have ATMs. After it ate the money I tried to contact the live teller through the machine and I was told to call customer service. I went inside to see if anyone could help me and they said the same thing. I immediately called customer service to make my dispute. A couple days later I called back to check the status of my dispute and was told it was denied. There is obviously footage of me using the machine when it malfunctioned so I don't understand why they can't prove the ATM has more money in it than it should. This isn't the first time this has happened and I should've changed banks a long time ago. Do not use this bank.

Terrible customer service. There transitioning BBVA customers to PNC has been disastrous. They have lost a customer.

So far the take over of Compass has been a nightmare ! Simple thing, change my address. After a very long wait, I got to see the supervisor, and she said that the system said that my new address didn’t exist! That’s funny, Google knows where it is! Then she tell’s me that they just sent my new PNC card to my old address today! Too late to stop that! She said that she could cancel that card, and that my current card would be good for a couple of months! That was just yesterday, and I couldn’t use it today to buy groceries!! So I called customer service!!!After listening to the auto answer list of options, that of course didn’t include mine, I talked to someone who was sorry for my problems, but needed to transfer me to someone else, because he couldn’t access my account without the number, I wasn’t able to see it on the paperless statement that was emailed to me. It only shows the last 4 numbers. I gave up after waiting on hold for 42 minutes, and started all over again. This time nobody picked up after entering all the information and being told that I was being transferred to someone. I gave up after 45 minutes on that try too. I guess they don’t have service after 5 , or on the weekends. I would think that it would have been very impressive if they would have planned ahead for the possible difficulties during the takeover, and extended access to customer service, if only to give their new customer’s peace of mind, and a good impression of who they would be banking with, if they decided to stay a customer that is! It’s Friday evening, and I can’t buy groceries, gas, or anything until I drive back to that bank on Monday morning!!!! I’m moving! I need access to my money now!!!!!

Stay away, they just want to charge you money with all kinds of fees. Make a payment over the phone has to pay additional fee. Unbelievable.

So, I actually just left this place, and I am so grateful that I chose to go to this location. I've been having a really hard time with paying my repo balance, and was on my last leg, ready to cry at the drop of a hat (I actually started to cry in the bank). A newer worker, Raphael, helped me and really elevated my experience. He was professional, personable and empathetic. In working to appease my concerns, he and the branch manager were very thorough, and although understandably lengthy, it was reassuring to know that they don't cut corners when ensuring the security of your accounts. PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. should be very honored to have such an amazing staff. Thank you, Raphael, et al., for assisting me ?

CDO NOT USE THIS BANK. terrible customer service. completely unorganized. no one knows what they're doing. they will bounce you around between CSR reps because no one has an answer. the supervisors don't even know what they're doing. i was supposed to get a new card because mine expired and they just never sent it. then i had to keep chasing it down for TWO WEEKS i didn't have access to my debit card account. completely ridiculous. i would NEVER recommend this bank to my worst enemy.

Do NOT bank with these guys especially for mortgage loan. They're irresponsive and nickel dime everything including extra $15 to pay for mortgage online or $8 for pay by phone. If you need some paperwork's, they charge $3 PER page to fax. Stay far away from these guys. One of the worst banks out there (Wells Fargo is the other one).

BEWARE- this is not a bank. They do not have ANY us currency or in person tellers. You can not cash a check, withdraw money or perform any financial transactions in person. It is impossible to get customer service or management to solve a problem. Closing the account was equally as tedious. DO NOT open account at a PNC.

Amazing Customer Service. Anthony took care of me and wish my main bank BOA had reps like him.
