Cosmetologist that goes by “Ms. mineral curly hair special “gave me the worst experience I’ve probably ever had when getting my hair done. She rents a booth out of Phoenix salon suites. I booked her on StyleSeat for a service that she could not even do but yet was posted on her website ,then ended up trying to up charge me for a basic wash and braid down Stating that since she couldn’t do the service properly it would be considered a special and I would have to be charged more . Mind you she text me the morning before letting me know she could perform the service but when I got there decided to argue with me with one of her friends in the middle of my service about payment after already confirming with me she could do the service for the price originally agreed . Ended up adding a service I didn’t even ask for on top of that. I had to find someone else to finish my hair while paying her almost $80 unfinished. This person is rude, rough, A scammer, and extremely unprofessional, and personally a bit off. If you are ever on StyleSeat please do not book this person. They do not know what they are doing and will end up giving you a horrible experience while trying to take all your money without even being able to do the basics. Both of her clients prior to me hated their hair also. One complained while the other one just ended up trying to fix it herself in the mirror. The most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen from a professional. Stylest Ended up erasing my appointment so I could not leave her a review.

I came to Phoenix Hair Salon and met the wonderful Teni who did my hair. I asked for 2 goddess braids and was skeptical at first because I called other hair salons/ braiding places in Texas and some said either they didn’t know what the style was or gave me an overpriced amount. When I tell you, I walked into the salon and Teni got the right color hair match for my hair thats 1B/33 and she was so gentle with my hair. I definitely would recommend anyone if they want to come in and get their hair professionally done come over to Teni. Not only does she do crochet, cornrows, goddess braids and much more her friendliness and kindness goes a long way. I’m grateful that I found this hair salon and I will be coming back.
