Wow the worst Petco so far!! Be careful they scam your money by using wrong barcode at checkout!!! We just move here and it’s our first time visiting this location. We got our cat the food he usually eats and of course we know the price range. BUT, at the checkout this $28.99 cat food becomes $45.99!!?? We noticed that immediately and pointed out to the cashier. But guess what? The girl said oh sorry but that’s how it shows from the computer. We have to go back to the shelf and double check the price and took a picture to show her, which supposed to be done by them right? But she still be like oh I know but that’s what shows on the computer. Girl you not try to fix things??? We were just shocked and decided to leave without purchasing. Won’t come back here any more.
5/23: update to reply petco’s comment. I’m not complaining about I can not afford your product, I’m talking about you shelf price is different at checkout. And you don’t want to fix it. It’s SCAM. I could have report to FTC.

I came in to buy one farret and left with two! All of the employees were super helpful and answered all of my questions. Amanda went above and beyond telling me everything I needed to know about my two new fur babies. Even shopping with me, making sure I had everything I needed before taking them home and getting me signed up for rewards. This was the best shopping experience I’ve ever had. I felt like a VIP customer.

Found some good clearance sales at this store. I come to the cash register and the MANAGER says"This is the wrong markdown price for the collar we CAN NOT SELL IT!" and she will refuse to sell it at all costs. Will not honor the clearance price tag .... at all. She takes the item away from you and says "This is wrong! And I can not not sell it!"
