Went in today and the fat lady with a mask picked up my card from the counter and didn’t want to give it back until I showed my ID. I’m switching my corporate account from Office Depot and never shopping there again.

The copy department lacks diversity, and professionalism. Thank you to the MOD for understanding my frustration and assisting me with copies (2:35PM).
The two men in the back (one is short with glasses/Hispanic) did not acknowledge me. I stood at the counter, the white man walked up and the man immediately acknowledged him and proceeded to assist his requests. The lead employee in the copy department (glasses/Hispanic) needs diversity, and customer service training ASAP.

It's understandable why people prefer online shopping. My visit to OfficeMax was disappointing due to an apparent internal dispute, resulting in unavailability of assistance. I don't recommend this store; unsure about other branches. Perhaps there wasn't a dispute, but the overall atmosphere was unpleasant with everyone appearing grumpy during my visit to OfficeMax. This, coupled with the lack of assistance, makes me hesitant to recommend the store. Uncertain about other branches.
