Mitsuwa Marketplace in Plano, Texas, is a popular Japanese grocery store that offers a wide variety of fresh and reliable Japanese products all year round. Customers can find authentic items such as toro, wagyu, sashimi, and Japanese rice, along with a good selection of Japanese appliances and cosmetics. The store has a well-organized, clean environment, making it easy to browse and shop. It features a smaller food court with delicious-looking dishes like ramen, donburi, sushi, sashimi, and bento, though some reviews suggest the food court is not as extensive or highly recommended for dining. Visitors enjoy the store's variety, which closely resembles shopping in Japan, including onigiri, croquettes, and famichiki-style chicken. The store also includes shops selling Japanese books, kawaii-themed products, a bakery, a confectionery store, and a cafe offering matcha sweets and drinks. The liquor section sells Japanese beer, sake, whiskey, and wine. While some find the prices on sashimi high, they believe the quality justifies the cost. Overall, Mitsuwa Marketplace in Plano is considered a delightful place that captures the essence of Japanese shopping and cuisine, making it a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike.
Good Japanese Curry and Ramen. Little market and stores. Was expecting it to be a little bigger but overall it was good.
