1 star due to the poor service received from the front desk staff. There is one employee particularly who - if you have a question or concern - will give you whatever response requires the least amount of effort from her.

The pt training is amazing I’ve been working out since January and was stuck in 1 weight and could never reach my goal then I went into the pt training and they actually helped me with dieting and losing more weight. Highly recommend doing it to see better results!!!

This particular LA fitness has a poor collection of mats and an even worse set of kettlebells. The kettlebells are peeling or they are unmatched. This particular LA fitness is very close to where I live but if I want to use floor or kettlebells, I drive 20 minutes further to a different LA fitness.
This is not a criticism of the staff. They are friendly. But I am disappointed that the equipment that I'm referring to has not been maintained or restocked and it has now been over a year since I made my first visits.

Tried to use the 3 day pass that is advertised when you download the app but the guy in there was like we can’t activate it today but instead you can join today if you’d like.
Why have something on your website and app that you won’t be able to use as a newcomer

I was there earlier this week for 45 mins and my car was broken into along with 6 other cars. They broke all of our car glass windows. The managers there are well aware of this continuous issue since it has happened at least 7-8 more times. But they still haven’t put any cameras (except the one they keep mentioning “oh the tree is blocking off its view” or some lights so it’s not too dark on each side of the parking lot. They clearly don’t care about their members. Even the police was aware that this incident has happened 7-8 times. I’m very disappointed. The purpose of going to the gym is to ease your mind, and relax but this place clearly doesn’t care about that or your safety…

Decent equipment, but terrible contract policies. Have to physically go in to cancel even though they claim that's not the case on signup.
