This is my favorite gym! It's always very clean and not super crowded. Omar is fantastic and very helpful! Chance has also been amazing! Both of them make me feel very welcome and have helped my gym experience be incredibly pleasant. I definitely recommend this place! It's a great environment to exercise in! ?

Overall, this is a great LA Fitness. The guy at the front desk. Mohammed is so nice. Had a really nice conversation with him. I also met some really good people. Overall a good gym that’s cleaner than a lot of the others. I only took one star because the locker room could’ve been a little cleaner and they use carpet in the locker room, which is fine but it has a weird smell. Overtime that might be a problem, but overall a pretty good LA Fitness.

Perfect location for me as I just moved into the area. It's never super packed, morning or evening. Access to a pool, spa, and jacuzzi after a good workout is always a plus. Not to mention an open gym for basketball and racketball. The staff is always friendly and helpful if and when you want to do any of their exercise classes. If you haven't checked them out yet, I recommend you do so.

Lots of equipment options, friendly staff, and people generally mind their own business. Probably due for a facelift - the breakage and out-of-order rate seems fairly normal, but the place as a whole is starting to seem a little worn.

Honest to God this place needs to shut down, get bulldozed, & start over from scratch….Employees, bathrooms, equipment, & all. The sauna never works. They let their phones ring for over 5 min until they answer & then they hang up in your face when they do pick up. This would never fly at the McKinney location lol. It’s worth the extra 20 min drive to go there for peace of mind at this point. Also, I heard an employee giving a tour to someone interested in the gym and he said the last machine he’d recommend for cardio was the stair master & that was just hilarious to me. Not sure what the job qualifications are, but I worked here 10 years ago as a college student and this place has done a complete 180. 0/0 from me. Don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location unless I’m absolutely desperate.

Went in with a 3 day pass and they pulled up my account from 2009 and told me they couldn’t give me a pass because I wasn’t a new member. I told them I was looking to use it for 3 days and I couldnt get 1? He told me to go work out and he’ll have a talk with his manager. Old machines but lovely people that struck up conversations with. Sauna had silver fish crawling all over it which was a big No for me.

Pretty low quality for LA Fitness standards. Been to LA Fitnesses across the Dallas area and this one is by far the worst. Equipment and machines are old, bathrooms are very dirty and you can smell it.
Same quality as the Planet Fitness down the street, but paying 7x more per month.

It’s a large gym which is nice, sauna works, and people are nice. Machines are rusty and outdated. I feel like I’m the loudest person if I’m running on their old treadmills :/

I live in Allen and could go to the LA Fitness beside me but I choose to make the drive to this location for the sauna, the location is bigger and ARMAND! From the moment I walk into the gym I am greeted by him with the biggest smile and the most amazing personality! It's one thing to be motivated by a trainer but to have the person behind the desk want to motivate you and make you feel good about yourself and your work out is another level. I highly recommend coming here. It's the best location with the best staff!!!!
