Honestly I'd give it more like two and half stars. The main problem being the manga selection is way too small. Then when their 20% off sale does happen they send an email like the day before it ends. They don't carry much yaoi. I can't even get the non yaoi titles I want there. It sucks that Barnes and noble has a way better selection.I do like the employees that work there but I kind of feel I wasted money buying the membership card. It gives you 10% off every purchase with some other added benefits for $25 a year. Overall disappointed. I really want to love it.

Love this store. It's a small store inside the Mitsuwa market. The staff is polite and helpful it's always fun to stop by and see what changes they make to the layout every time I go.

Very nice and interesting store. Love the anime section the most. A little pricey but I think it's worth it! Will be back!

I just had a very bad experience, the sales stuff was weirdly rude about me having some free bookmarks. It was very embarrassing and most uncomfortable experience ever. Very very rude staff. Very racist

This kinokuniya is by far the smallest of the shops I've been to, but still carries most of the same products.Their manga selection is far smaller than a larger shop and the stationary selection is limited. They do however have a good selection of board games.Overall it's satellite shop of the main kinokuniya shops.

It's a small shop inside Mitsuwa but the selection is great! Plenty of manga to choose from and something for everyone. If you want authentic Japanese anime merch or imported pens and stationary or desk items, then look no further!

Cute store. Great selection of Japanese stationary. I am a crazy pen lady. The only issue I have is that I always feel I am being watched there. I've felt this way several times. In addition, when returning items for an exchange, it always seems I am met with questions, suspicion, and hesitation about exchanging the product(s). I made the decision a few days ago to not shop their again. I prefer the larger Kinokuniya in Carrollton. The store is much more, and they are too busy to be closely monitoring its customers. In fact, I think I will keep my Japanese stationary purchases online because ... never mind, I dont want to get reported.

One of my favorite places to shop at, especially given its location within Mitsuwa. They have manga, books, fountain pens, stationary, stuffies, models, and a whole treasure trove of other goodies for people to discover!

We love coming to this bookstore inside of the Mitsuwa japanese grocery store. It has so many cute items like smiski figures, sonny angels, anime merch and books, sanrio merch, pens, buttons, stickers, pusheen, wawa froggie clips, and more!! It is always nice to walk inside and come out with little goodies for yourself. Although the prices are more on the expensive side, it is nice to get a cute item every once in awhile! 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a gift for someone or a pick-me-up for yourself!
