This place will charge you as much as humanly possible at every visit. They will suggest your pet is suffering, without looking over the animal's medical file, in order to scare you into more testing. They will no longer provide prescriptions when requested, they will force you to wait so that your only alternative is to buy the medication you need from their online store, which is exponentially more expensive than what you can find elsewhere. It seems like this place saw the carnival game that corporate clinics have been playing in the area and wanted to throw their hat in the ring. Stay far away. You can do better for your loved ones.

I've spent a lot of money at this vet between my 3 pets and even had my mother start taking her new puppy here. We will not ever be returning. Their best vet left and now they are trying to squeeze every dollar out of me that they can every time I walk in the door. The vet even tried to scare me into more tests this last visit, forgetting we had tested my dogs blood earlier this year already. We are done and will have to find a new vet. Beware, this place is going the direction of other vets in the area and trying to break your bank every time you walk in the door. The final straw was charging me more than triple what normal pricing is for an antibiotic, I found it cheaper elsewhere, and they wouldn't allow me to return the medication, unopened, less than 8 hours later. I understand laws exist, but triple the price? No. You've lost my trust and you've lost my business.
Edit: instead of admitting their questionable practices they tried to argue with me with a smile. Higher prices aren't the gradual increase of inflation, they LITERALLY charged me 3 times the average cost for Clavamox and if the vet had any interest in my pets well being he would have known the results of the blood work we did earlier this year instead of suggesting my dog could be suffering from ailments her blood work showed were not concerns. I even tried to return the antibiotic, which was sealed and had not been opened, and they refused to take it back. Don't take your pets here unless you want to put them in danger.

High Point has been my vet for the past 20+ years. They have always been so caring and compassionate to not only my fur babies, but for my human family members as well. Being our vet for this long, we have lost a few babies, so they have been a huge part of leading them over the Rainbow Bridge. Each time with the utmost empathy. Yes, I have about a dozen other veterinary clinics between my home and High Point, but I wouldn’t trust anyone else for my babies care.

The vet team is so friendly and always on time. The office is clean and never smells like a vet clinic. Dr L. Is the best. Caring and thorough enough as the situation warrants. Oscar is well loved by all the staff.

The last vet that I loved for years was no longer able to see my dog without waiting more than a week for an appointment, which is not ideal when your pup has an issue you want addressed and urgent care is obviously extremely expensive. I was nervous to search for a new office, but have been so pleased with High Point! We have seen both vets and both are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's always an efficient visit where we don't have to wait for long and it's easy to schedule an appointment. The staff makes my dog and I feel at home and even remember him when we visit. I will say that prices at this office are slightly higher than my previous vet, but it's worth the extra to be seen so quickly and even be closer to home!

I have never had a bad experience at High Point. The entire staff is wonderful. All the Vets are kind and are obviously in their professions for the love of the animals. I have been to some terrible vets. I have had horrific vet experiences. I have lost pets to poor veterinary care and vets who just wanted to be paid (like wouldnt treat my dying animal until AFTER i paid them..). For years I had some sort of vet ptsd and I just wouldn't ever take my animals to a vet unless I needed to. This place ROCKS. If you are looking for a vet look no further. This is where you want to be.
