Hertz is the absolute worst. I have them a second chance and honestly if the insurance didn’t pay for it, I would NEVER rent from Hertz on my own. Long hold times, continuous transfers, can’t talk to a person. I went to my location that I HAVE to go to. I can’t return my rental to another location. I get there and they are closed with a note be back soon. I waited outside 45 min and no one ever came back before they closed at 4pm. I had to take off work early and this happens. This is a consistent pattern. And horrible customer service

After much back and forth with different levels of management, I finally got a gift card sent to me for the inconvenience of not having enough cars on their lot even though I had reserved one (and they didn't contact me with enough time so that I could make other convenient arrangements). Well this gift card will only work if I reserve through their website, which is more expensive than the third-party I normally use. So, it will go unused. I won't be returning to this location again and I will think long and hard before using another Hertz location.

Worst experience of my life. Went to one on central expressway, paid Uber driver waited 30 minutes and overheard employee tell someone out of cars. I asked her and she said I WAS TALKING TO HIM. Made reservation to the one on Coit and George Bush for economy car and guess what no cars after paying Uber to take me there and employee said oh well sorry. How are they still in business. Do your homework before on google. You won’t go.

The Hertz employees at this location are nice and professional. However, if you book a rental here, there is a 50/50 chance the car will not be available when you arrive. Availability of vehicles depends upon the person returning the vehicle to be punctual.
I reserved a car for 6/12/24, even called 24 hours before pickup to confirm, and my car was not there.
Rent from another location!

What's the point of reservation when you don't have cars? What's the reservation for? can't you send a text saying you don't have cars? I've seen way too many people waiting for a car.
You could have just called and said we don't have a car would have saved me a trip. Reimburse me for wasted time and trip.

Hertz canceled the same day than double charge me for no show.
Trash Employees… comon guys.
but it either way i got my money back bruh after a month.. do it again next time and see!

I never had bad experience till I went here. There was a big hole in the passenger side and patch with the weird metal patch. AC didn’t work properly. Also the front glass had a cracked after reading their reviews. I decide to make video right after I got the car in their parking lot when I returned the car they said it wasn’t there I showed them the video the one I made then they went over to their computers. They said it was there. But I did not worry. I had the video still have it. I’m gonna post soon. Also now I received $18 charge. I turned the car in 10 o’clock that morning. One of their driver took me to Tesla collision center. He used toll way to take me out there also he jumped on his way back. But it was all after 10 o’clock when I had turned the car in. It is a horrible place. I never had experience like that. And now they’re charging me for that tolls. Also, I turned in the car at 10 o’clock and they saying it was turning at 12:21. I was dropped off at Tesla at 10:20 buy them. Makes no sense. This is ridiculous.

Called and spoke with a "kelly" Who was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL and disconnected the call. I asked to speak with the manager after calling back, and he stated he was the manager!! Very very UNPROFESSIONAL AND IT IS NOT TOLERATED

Crooks and Scammers
These people do bait & switch and upsell. The small sedan i booked online wasn't available, they gave me a medium sedan while making me pay for the upgrade which should have been at most $5/day. But somehow it came to be $20/day!?
Not only that, they also defraud customers! They tacked on additional coverages I said no to (nor did I select any coverage on the website). They didnt even bother explaining what the additional charges were, I thought i was only agreeing to the car upgrade. Of course they know not every customer pays close attention after a long day especially just before they're about to close shop, so they take advantage of that.
Well guess what, i spoke with the corporate and rightfully got my refund. The two scammers at the front can $vck it.

Kelly has the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Was in line before 6 other people and he let them cut in front of me because I didn’t have a reservation. On my way to enterprise!

One of the worst car rental experiences I’ve ever experienced, when they don’t have car why the hell you accept bookings. The behavior of white person is worst as if he is doing a favor by informing us that there is no cars available also this person is not even helping in canceling the booking . I appreciate the help of the black guy really nice and respectful helped me to cancel the booking also made sure that my booking is canceled. I was fasting that’s why I didn’t wanted to get angry on anyone but the white guy working there needs to be fired asap.Disclaimer:- I don’t know there names that’s why I am referring them by color

5 star for Branch Manager Kelly.
Since many months me and my friend are renting car's from this location and every time we walk-in we get a warm welcome from Manager Kelly and Natalie. Kelly is an asset to this franchise as he makes sure his customer's have everything that they need.
Whenever I have a problem and I call them, they resolve it immediately whether it is a problem with an existing renting car, or preferred car.
Appreciate their quick response and love renting car's from this location.

I have never been spoken to-or should I say, berated, the way I was on the phone call I made today. It sucks to report abusive service here, only to see responses from the person who inflicted it! Kelly, you are the most vile, rude, disgusting sorry excuse of a manager I’ve ever had the misfortune to speak with! I called to ask a question to confirm that I had all I needed prior to my pick up date. Nothing more.. and I was repeatedly interrupted, yelled at, and spoken to as of my business wasn’t wanted or valued! I have contacted corporate and will continue to contact whomever I need to in order to ensure that you are never in a customer service position ever again. You should be terminated immediately! Disgusting!
