I am new to HAM radio. Just have my Technician license and am getting ready for my General test. The guys here are ready to help you better understand what you are looking for. I really enjoy going into this store. Even open on Saturday afternoon, which is very convenient

I found myself in the DFW area not long after getting my general license, I saw that Ham Radio Outlet had a physical location nearby and decided it was somewhere I had to go.
Really glad I did, I stopped in an Eddie helped me get a full kit put together. I really appreciate having a physical place to go to piece out everything you need, especially as somebody new to the hobby.
Highly recommend this location and HRO in general if you are looking for radio gear.

I am new to the amateur radio world. I have been in a few times to just look and absorb. The staff is patient and friendly even though I'm sure new people asking questions can get annoying.
I just want to say thank you to the team. Your efforts don't go unnoticed. I really enjoy being able to ask questions that I may not really understand yet.
When I decide on what equipment I want, I will certainly be buying from ham radio outlet.

This is a good store with nice people, but they do one thing that's absolutely terrible. Depending on what you order, they will require a a signature for delivery. I was able to override that requirement, however, they should tell people BEFORE they finalize the order that a signature will be required. Many people might want to have things sent to their office as opposed to their home address. Before ordering, call them by telephone, and find out if a signature will be required.

I had heard from several people how this store would have what I need for my ham radio addiction. I was not disappointed. There is an enormous inventory of all kinds of ham radio products including cables, manuals, handhelds, base stations, antennas, software, and accessories of all kinds. They also have a selection of pre-owned items for sale. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

Great store! Very helpful employees. Wish they had more stock though. Several items were out there and unfortunately it's the only radio shop for miles, for me anyway, but I love this place regardless.

Amazing store, the guys there are great to talk to and can answer any questions you have wether its tuning,setup,or anything ham radio related they got the answer. I wish they had more cb stuff but still got enough to get you started.
