Doctor is good. But getting a product requires another visit. I would not recommend them.

I have been seeing Dr.Achtman for maybe 2 years now. And while I like him, the office staff is atrocious. They have cancelled appointments with short notice and will wait until after a referral expires less than 24 hours before your appointment to call and tell you that you need a new one. He deserves better honestly because he's a good doctor. But they are just irresponsible. I am currently looking for another provider because of them alone. And that's sad. I've never seen anything like it.

This place is legit! Best group I could've asked for. Everyone's extremely helpful and went above and beyond. Ashley was sincere, intelligent, and the staff was flexible for my needs. Can't thank them enough for getting me the care I truly needed. An OUTSTANDING job, will never forget!

Same review as Christine from December of 2022. I felt the Dr. was good, so this review is in no way a reflection of him, and the administrative staff was reasonable. But the nurse was absolutely horrible. She should really thing about getting out of this business and going to work at Whataburger or something. While I was explaining my issue, she all but rolled her eyes, and seemed totally disinterested in what I was saying. As Christine said, rude and unkind is putting it lightly. If you don't have the work ethic to be sympathetic to your customers in this particular business, especially, then you should not be doing this job. Again, Dr and admin staff seemed fine. But the nurses here are going to cause this place to lose a lot of business.

I've given this team many chances to be kind. I'm at the point where I rather speak with the doctor only ever. The staff is horrible, specifically the nurses. They are rude and unkind. I've talked to multiple nurses, one is Karissa and another started with a "S". Unfortunately I can't spell her name. They were good at explaining the process but they are truly unkind about the situation you're dealing with or truly don't have heart for their customers. You can tell it's all about work for them and they can careless about the customer. They are constantly rushing the conversation. They definitely have attitude. When I asked them about my pending treatment, they will start off by saying I heard this was told to you by another nurse already or we have talked to you about this. It's very off putting. As customer, you don't need the attitude when you're going through skin issues or you shouldn't be talk down too. I work with customers often and you just repeat yourself as annoying as it can be in a kind matter. You would think they know the basic rule of customers first. I'm about to start treatment and I shouldn't feel uncomfortable to come in but I do. The doctor was the nicest person in the office and seem to truly care for his work. The reception desk seem kind too but didn't know to really answer any questions so they forward you to the nurse. Today I was literally told by a nurse she doesn't have time for this while she is in clinical. I rather prefer the answer I can do or check this in an hour versus being told I am not doing this or can't. Do not come here. Definitely do not recommend. I'm really considering going to another office. I found this office via google and saw such amazing reviews. Then again the reviews are mainly on the doctors. Yelp has reviews that agree with my sentiment. I should have checked both google and Yelp.

I don't recommend this clinic if you need a face mole to be surgically removed they can do this anywhere on your body but they don't want to do face. I had a pretty large mole near my nose and he only offered to shave it. A shot to numb the are was used I felt 2-3 bee stings. The pain only lasted for that second. I was numbed immediately. My table wasn't near a clinic light and I feel lighting wasn't great in the room. He warned me about the results since they weren't going to remove the root of the mole. But I still went ahead with the shave procedure I had hoped to remove it that day so it was something. And indeed!! It's been 2 week since my procedure and I have kept the area moist and covered. It's not raw to the touch and a faint thin outline of actual mole tissue has been left behind. It has thinned down where what I used to be visibly see dried off. There's one side that still has visible mole tissue I wish his cut would have been more even. I haven't checked in with them again and he did say he would "remove any ridges" so maybe that's what he meant. But I'm pretty certain I could just get laser to remove the little bit and maybe some of the redness if it stays. There is elevation but at least no overly unwanted mole tissue. I think it will look like a skin color mole which I do not mind. I loved my nurse and the front desk both very attentive. I will add pics as soon it heals completely.

Someone recommend doctor Daniel to me and I came in seeking a 2nd opinion. At first I was very happy but then I had a procedure done with him on my back and it was the worst decision I ever made ! 2 months later I am dealing with issues with my scar. I will not go into detail about everything that took place and I will never come back to this doctor again, but I would recommend to think 100 times over before you choose this office and this doctor.

The nurse here has one of the most awful attitudes I have ever encountered. I am disgusted to have spent money on their services and the unnecessary labs. I will never communicate with this office again, until this nurse is fired. The attitude did not just happen on one day, or in the same week. I have had 6 different encounters within the last 2 months, and she seems to have a bad day, every single day. What a shame!

Return visit after 10 yr absence. I don't think there was even Google reviews when I went the first time. Second visit was easy to make and office made several follow-up emails/text msg so I didn't forget. I saved time by filling out the new patient forms (required if you haven't been there in 3 yrs) before the visit. No waiting time to speak of and short efficient visit.

Dr Achtman is knowledgeable and is very personable. He has appointments available when I need them and I have never had to wait long to be seen. I appreciate my time being valuable to a doctor. My go to dermatologist for sure!

This was my first time going to a dermatologist, and it was a wonderful experience! The doctor was great - very friendly and informative, and he certainly did not try to up-sell me on anything. In fact, he discussed all of my options and why he thought one was the best. He was able to help me during the same consultation visit at no extra cost to me! Will definitely return and recommend to others.
