Discount Tires did a good job on: getting new tires on my Xterra, getting the TPMS issues addressed, and get the alignments done right.
I'm leaving 4 stars because the work quality of wheel balancing is subpar. Seems like I always face this issue with the franchise Discount Tire when it comes to this specific issue. I'm not sure if it's the equipments they're using?
I ended up taking my vehicle elsewhere and the result is pretty bad, like around 4-6oz of off-balance (see picture). The tech from a different shop mentioned that some of the old balancing weight was left there too.

Careful of the charges. Discount tire charged me (twice) for the certificates and didn't even know it. First, they charged it without asking me. Secondly, they got confused and charged me again. $150.50 both times. I found it online with my bank and brought it to Discount Tire attention. They made it right when I went back to the store.

Hello, I visited your store couple days ago because one of my tires was slowly losing air, and I simply wanted it checked. Your representative inspected the tire within no time and told me there were two nails in it that couldn’t be repaired, then immediately recommended that I purchase a new tire.
I felt something was off, so I decided to get a second opinion at a nearby garage. They thoroughly examined the tire and confirmed that there were no nails at all, and that the tire was perfectly fine aside from having lost some air.
I’m disappointed with the experience, as it felt like I was being misled. I hope this can be looked into so other customers don’t encounter the same issue. Please address this with your team.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the associates name. I cannot blame the entire store for someone who is misleading the customers for his own targets or benefits. But I request the management to look into these kind of activities from representatives assisting customers.
I was under the impression that whatever you recommend customers is the best, but its an eye opener for me from this situation.
I recommend customers to look into the recommendations provided by representatives and proceed especially when it comes to exchanging tires for small reasons.

Discount Tire at Spring Creek Plano TX recently replaced the defective lug nuts, provided by Ford as standard equipment, on my 2021 Ford F150 King Ranch. The DT team was knowledge and efficient from start to finish. I’ll be back for tires when needed.

Was able to make an appointment for my tires to be rotated and rebalanced. Only took about 30 minutes.

Managers allowed my sleeping 8 month old and 3 year old to stay in the car while they balanced the truck tires. To my knowledge was an exception and significantly helped me out allowing the 8 month old to nap.

I went In in hopes of getting a leaking tire plugged and while I know my tires were getting to the point of needing replacement. They didn’t attempt to try to plug and saw and opportunity to make money off me and tried to upsell me 4 new tires and I agreed to two cause I knew they would end up needing replacement. I was expecting the leaking one to be one of the ones that was being replaced but they didn’t replace that one and so I left the store with the same tire that has a small leak I came to the store in the first place to get fixed. Also they failed to inflate the new tire to my vehicles specific psi and over inflated it by 5 psi To 40 psi and not the vehicle specific required 35 psi.. I’ve been very happy with this store and hopefully this is all a misunderstanding of not providing the proper information to the garage crew of replacing the leaking tire and can get it worked out.

Great experience at Discount Tire on Spring Creek near Coit in Plano. They can get any tire that's available, even my BF Goodrich All Terrain tires. Very professional staff, everyone knows what they're doing and work well as a team ?
