Decently easy walk to Legacy for conferences. Service is amazingly courteous, friendly & always helpful. The newish cafeteria in the lobby is good enough but an eye sore. I remember when they use to have free breakfast here. I just need complementary coffee to get going. The rooms as others have said are severely outdated, the carpet smells of sweaty flooding & the outlets & faucets need repairs. Ask for an air freshener & get by.Walkability: Minimal sidewalks. Easy drive to other locations.

This hotel has a great location and wonderful staff. The front desk person name Ni is excellent. She welcomes everyone with a smile and checks-in guests quickly. She is very pleasant to talk to. She told me she is going to UNT and majoring in hospitality area. I think based on her personality and line of study she is going to do very well in her career.Overall this is a great hotel to stay and is in walking distance to many nice restaurants.Rooms: Rooms are above average.Food & drinks: Good

Clean hotel with wonderful staff. Breakfast in the morning at the biastro was flavorful and didn't feel as much like eating at a hotel. Bar selection very minimal, that and the outdated rooms could use with a do-over. Convienent location too.

Location was good. Close to Legacy West for some food. But the room really need an upgrade. Very outdated and smell of old carpet. Soap was empty at the last day. I guess it wasn't checked during cleaning day before.

Great location. Rooms are a bit outdated. Excellent customer service. Ni met us with a warm welcome and checked me in quickly. We had a slight issue with our room and Sergio was MR. FIX it! Sergio was patient and assuring. Marriott, there is a good team here in Legacy Park....take care of them;)Nearby activities: Very close to shops and Legacy West.Safety: Felt safe. Did not encounter any homeless or people hanging around.

Our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Plano in Legacy Park on April 13, 2024, was nothing short of a nightmare, and I have no intention of ever returning. At 10:30 pm, I was subjected to the disruptive behavior of a group of children without chaperons, as they were drinking the hotel bar. Throughout the night, they ran rampant in the halls, slamming doors, and causing chaos, making it impossible for us to get any rest.Despite our attempts to address the issue by contacting the front desk, I was met with incompetence and indifference. The in-room phone was conveniently out of order, and calls to the hotel went unanswered. When we finally made our way down to the front desk, I was appalled by the scene before me—a desk clerk, a security guard, and an unknown individual casually drinking beer in the lobby. It was clear that maintaining order and ensuring the comfort of guests was not a priority for the staff. To add insult to injury, when we requested assistance from the desk clerk, their solution was not to address the disruptive guests but to offer a room change instead. As if that wasn't enough, the blatant disregard for our privacy and safety reached a new low when the hotel security guard irresponsibly shared our current room number with the very individual causing the disturbance as he casually said it was his group causing the noise.Upon reluctantly accepting a room change, we made it abundantly clear that we would not be paying for the night's stay—a stance we maintain given the unacceptable circumstances. However, the ordeal was far from over. Upon returning to our room to pack, we were met by the same individual (man drinking beer), who had the audacity to blame the hotel for the chaos caused by his group.Feeling increasingly at risk, we rushed to the elevator, only to be followed by the same individual. Fearing for our safety, we sought refuge at the front desk, demanding a security escort to the new room. It was nearly midnight by this point, and had been awake since the early hours of the previous day due to travel. In conclusion, the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Plano in Legacy Park failed miserably in providing a safe and comfortable environment for its guests. The lack of accountability, disregard for guest concerns, and breaches of privacy and safety are utterly unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment and will be sharing our harrowing experience far and wide.

In ally years of staying in hotels, I have met a more customer service oriented employee than Victor. He's the first person I dealt with when arriving, and is just absolutely incredible. I've been in the customer service business for almost 40 years and managed for many of those. I van honestly say that you can not teach the service skills that he has. Please value him as an extraordinary employee. Made me feel right at home during my stay. 10 A+ all the way.

Quiet inauspicious location. Only a handful of guests the night I stayed. Front desk worker was friendly and inviting. Offered free water bottles. Standard room but a little outdated.Only complaint is that they put me next to an occupied room even though there were only a handful of guests. So had to deal with noise from adjoining room.
