This is a beautiful store with a nice variety of premium wines and spirits. The staff is always happy to see us and we always find a new drink to try. Definitely recommend.

Very good selection, some prices on mids and premiums are quite high, I know the smaller guys have to make money. Just saying. Support small business.

Nice storefront, inventory is meh and prices are on the high side. Store is filled with many of the same bottles throughout (i.e Remy Martin XO), so ultimately they have very limited selection because of that setup. I did find a bottle of Royal Salute 38yr Old - Stone of Destiny with a price on it. When I wanted to buy it, the first cashier had to go get another worker, then that one went to go get a manager (mind you I’m the only one in the store), then the manager had to call the owner to see if they could even sell it. That should have been my sign to bounce but I stuck around for 15min and they could not get a hold of the owner. If you don’t intend to sell a bottle, don’t display it with a price, that’s just bad business. Unless you’re really wanting some Remy Martin, avoid this place. And also avoid the fortune cookies they have laid out, they are stale.

If you prefer PREMIUM spirits and/or wines, going anywhere else would be a MISTAKE. This establishment is exactly what you want and expect from a high-end liquor store. The selection here is premium, vast, and AFFORDABLE (you will be pleasantly surprised by their prices). The store itself is very beautiful, clean, and well laid out. Be prepared to spend a bit of time in the store on your first trip as you will probably get stuck browsing the selection (I did). The staff is very polite and attentive to your needs. I went in for a normal bottle of my preferred Scotch and purchased a variation that I had never seen or heard of before by my preferred maker; I LOVE IT. This location will now be my primary stop when purchasing my spirits as it has more choices than I could feasibly get through.

All I'll say is buyer beware. I WISH I could give this place zero stars. The place is beautiful when you walk in... then you start seeing the whiskey they have (very high end) and you get really excited! Sadly, it's all a mirage, I assure you. It started when I asked a question about nigori sake. The kind, but clearly inept store worker said "We don't have nigori". My response was, "Well, I'm holding one of your bottles of nigori right now." Clearly no idea... so I said never mind. I ended up purchasing eight bottles of sake that day. However, when we opened the bottles later that night... IT WAS ALL BAD! The sake was brown and smelled horrible! I wasn't one bottle or even one kind of sake. We opened four bottles, two different brands - all rotten! The store wouldn't take it back... not even the unopened bottles (as another reviewer commented here!). So I'll eat my losses and will NEVER shop here EVER again. It's too bad because I come to this area every year and always have to buy sake. I can only hope this review helps someone see through the grandeur and flash of this place...because no reputable shop would treat customers they way they do, nor would they sell old or substandard product! My suggestion would be to concentrate more on your customer service, and invest more money in the product you sell, rather than your marble floors, wood panelling and glass cases. Best of luck to you!

The store shows to be open, both here and when searching online, but I drove out to the store (45 minutes) and they are closed. I called a number they had listed on the door and they told me they were closed for remodeling but didn't tell me when they would open back up. It would have been nice if they updated Yelp and Google with this information so people don't waste their time driving out there for nothing. They also could have apologized for the inconvenience and tried to be a little more accommodating. Other than that, the store is great and they have a great selection of baijiu! However, this experience ruined it for me and I will start having the baijiu shipped from California ($52 at BlackWellsWines (plus shipping) for what China Place Liquor charges $100 for).

This store has a good selection. I went looking for Hibiki whiskey. I didn't find it so I settled for a bottle of Kura. While checking out I found two bottles of Hibiki in the display case, they refused to sell either. Since I found what I wanted and they refused to sell it I asked for a refund on the Kura. The store has a no return policy. The entire process was made even more painful by the fact that the staff and I could not communicate effectively.

Unlike any other liquor store I've been to. Looking forward to going back as they have a large and unique selection.

This liquor store is a weird yet interesting existence, it draws fine lines between high-end, affordable, luxury, modern, and low budget. It is located in same plaza as Austin Avenue but behind it, and that puts it at a disadvantage since the plaza barely gets any traffics. I read about this place on WeChat, and thought would pay it a visit. My first impression was wow! this place must be expensive since its luxurious looking decorations set it apart from all other liquor stores in DFW area. It turned out that I was half wrong since they carry liquors that range from $5 to $9999. They carry a lot of high-end & rare brands like Luis XIII, BaiJiu, and Opus One etc. However, they do carry everyday liquor brands like Skyy, Jimbeam,Titos, Hennessy etc at very competitive prices as well. They offer wide range of selections from Chinese BaiJiu, Japanese Sakes, Korean Soju, Vodka, Cognac, Gin and the list goes on. It is like your neighbor liquor store but cleaner, cheaper, nicer and bigger.
