I just had a horrible experience at the Dallas Preston and Royal location. Jeannette did a poor job with my transaction. It started when I asked her for a different size on one of the items I ordered and specifically asked her to check and see if they had it at Preston park in Plano. She proceeded to walk out on the floor and check the racks. I let her know. I just simply needed her to check Preston and Park Plano, that I already checked the rack. She proceeded to look at a list and was looking at a variety of locations and finally announced that it appears that the Preston park location was the closest. Of course in between she asked me if I was local, and I already told her exactly where I wanted to pick it up from. Then I asked her to just do one transaction because I wanted to get bracelets with it, which would’ve put me over the hundred dollars to use my $20 coupon. she ended up doing a transaction but only for the two blouses. I reminded her what my ask was and at this point very frustrated that she’s not listening over and over to me, her customer. She told me it was too late to do it that way, because she already checked out the two blouses so at this point, I’m getting more frustrated because I told her in the first place what my desire was. She left the floor and went over to Soma to get someone to help her, again needing to wait. Then that person guided her. First, she knocked over the scanner that fell on the floor so when she went to scan, it wasn’t working, she, so kept trying to no avail. The other person said to just punch in the numbers. Then she couldn’t get the three bracelets to ring up the sale price so she got the calculator and kept trying to divide by three to no avail. She said that wasn’t working either and that nothing was working today. It was obvious it was an operator error. I finally entered it into my calculator and gave her the amount. So she never was able to get this rung up all at one time and she was told to credit it and re-ring it up together with the bracelets, ugh!!! However, that didn’t work either because she said it wasn’t in the system yet. So finally, the person helping her told her to enter a coupon into the system with the bracelets.This was so inefficient and a huge waste of my time! Hopefully, the Plano location experience will be better!

Amy was a great help! I needed to return and exchange an item. She was juggling the phone, another customer with an online pick up order, and me. She was kind and helpful to all of us. Often the phone takes precedence over the customer in person, and the customer in store has to wait -which is incorrect. But Amy made us all feel like we were important and we received the attention we needed in a timely manner. Thank you for the great customer service!

After my original review I got a call from Chico’s corporate and also a call from the store management. I don’t know what happened after that but I I went back to this store today to return a blouse I bought online and I was gladly surprised.
Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful.
I am changing my review from one to 5 stars because they totally deserve it.
This is the service I got on my first visits and I love.

We all know that Chico’s has great clothing and quality but the service at this location is terrible.
I have been here a few times and today was horrible.
I wasn’t greeted when I walked in. I was looking around for pants and nobody ever asked If I needed help or if I was looking for something specific.
I walked around with several pieces I wanted to try and none of the associates offered to get me a fitting room. I saw other clients there being helped but nobody even spoke to me until I was asked if I was done with the fitting room.
I simply ended up scanning the tags to order online the pants I liked.
I don’t think I’ll bring by business to this store again.

My mother and I came to this chicos wanting to revamp her wardrobe and were looking forward to the good service we’ve gotten at other locations. This location failed to greet us at the door, ask if we wanted a fitting room when our hands were full, and even when we walked to the fitting rooms the woman who was helping the other ladies into the dressing rooms failed to ask my mother if she wanted a room as well as what her name was for the door. They asked the four other women in the dressing rooms how they were doing but not my mother. It was all very odd and the ladies were giving me strange looks when I arrived. Odd experience and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

She helped pick out the right pieces and sizes and went out of her way to introduce us to Trudy, next door at Soma who was also AMAZING helping us with bras!! The employees here are very helpful. The Plano location is my favorite. I was surprised to learn that they now have a personal stylist to assist you. She sends you information on upcoming sales, etc. This is one of my go-to places when I am looking for something new to wear.

I would give 0 stars to this establishment if I could, Stacie who works here is incompetent, rude and very unprofessional, we will never come back to this store again, customer service is at its lowest, would not recommend, please refrain from visiting this store, we will be calling the corporate to let them know that their employees treat customers with the lowest manners

My mother buys all her clothes from Chico’s and has done so as long as I can remember. She is 88 years old and loves to look nice. Her clothes, makeup and hair / nails are one of the few things she still has control of due to mobility issues and age related issues. She uses a walker and has a limited amount of stamina. The store was not busy and there were plenty of employees. My mother asked for assistance, I asked for assistance and two clerks said they would help. I am not sure if they did not want to deal with the return or a lady with a walker that needs extra help. They never came back and we ended up leaving. I even explained to a staff member that we were about to to leave and got zero response. In addition to that, we went in last week and a clerk said that I need to have more patience with my mother. That was so inappropriate and hurtful. She has major hearing loss and I have to speak loudly for her to hear. Shame on you Chicos!
