I was in the shop yesterday with a couple of girlfriends and we encountered the rudest associate. I shouldn't be surprised because these high end stores are notorious for being rude but we were just checking out the lipsticks and had set our bags down on the window shelf. She got very upset and acted like we were going to knock down the display. Needless to say, we didn't buy anything. Big mistake! Big!

I’ve never felt discriminated against my whole life and mind you I was born and raised in America and am of middle eastern descent- until the day I stepped foot in this Chanel store. I came inside the store to buy a balm - something very simple. I was not greeted by the associate who was working there and there was no one else in the store. I went up to the associate and asked her if she could help me find a balm. She repeatedly said she didn’t know what I was talking about..as if I was speaking a foreign language (I have no accent). She was a Caucasian woman with no accent herself either so there was absolutely no language barrier for there to be a misunderstanding of some sort. I then pulled up the image of the product on my phone and it finally “clicked” for her. Luckily another associate by the name of Sonia was there and she was very warm and personable. Sonia helped turn around my experience. She acknowledged myself and my mother and helped check us out at the counter while the other associate left to go in the back room. I believe the rude woman still got credit for the sale and under the receipt it reads 6780 Jared as the advisor. I will escalate the matter to corporate as well.

Today was my very first time stepping into a Chanel store or purchasing anything from Chanel. Gucci has always been my favorite, but today, I became a Chanel fan. Customer service was excellent & Kayla was top notch. I don’t know the names of the other employees, but they were all great.

The store's early closing times have proven to be a major inconvenience during holiday's. Make sure you call them ahead before. As a customer, it is disheartening to find the store closed before the advertised closing hours, limiting my ability to make purchases and explore the available products.I hope the management at the Channel Store takes these concerns seriously and considers implementing changes to improve both the store's hours of operation and the quality of customer service.
