I was in a hurry so I decided to try old fashioned verbal communication again. Every mouth at each moment produced different output at Carmax.
I saved a lot of money and headache by pulling out of the deal in the last minute and just went with the text communication via website with Carvana. All written and consistent statements for me to view T&C and test drive at home.
Even manufacturers are beginning to automate new car sales so maybe Carmax will keep up in the future.

If you are selling a vehicle I highly recommend CarMax of Plano. From start to finish it was a pleasant and professional experience. We were in and out with a check in hand in under 45 minutes. The days of dealing with the old fashioned dishonest dealerships are over.

Believe the bad reviews. If you’re looking to sell your car, they will floor it. No other Carmax that I gone to does this. I took my sport car here to sell and they floored it all the way the gas pedal. The car did a tail spin and hit the curve breaking the rim. They just told me like it’s all good and gave me their insurance information. No apologies no nothing. Had to ask for a manager and told him this is not professional. It’s not right what they are doing here. Seems like they are aware of what they do and don’t care about it. I told him I wouldn’t drive it out because the wheel was broken. They gave me an Uber and left it there. It was then taken to a repair shop. Found out later the wheel bearings were also damaged. At the end took 2 months to fix the car.

We spent 5 hours buying the vehicle. Because your form of excepting payment is out dated added to the lengthy buying process. The vehicle was not clean and the battery was bad, which lead me to believe the vehicle was not properly inspected. I downloaded all my documents requested in the app. But had to provide DL & Insurance when I arrived.

Great experience! Even though I was not able to sell my Audi this time, I was delighted by professionalism of the staff and how smooth everything worked. 6 out of 5! Not to mention that online offer was fully verified within 30 minutes. Pleasure to have business with dealers like this.
