I had 2 surgical procedures at this hospital within the last 3 weeks. I also spent an extra 2 days after my second procedure. Everyone was exceptional! They were caring, kind, helpful, and very attentive! This was by far the best surgery/hospital experience I've ever had! If I could choose I would absolutely go back for any procedure or hospital stay!

Wow! I can’t believe all of the terrible reviews I just read. I went in for surgery on my cervical spine on Jan 19 of this year. I stayed 5 days and I had wonderful care from the time I walked in to admitting until I left 5 days later. Nurses on the 5th floor were very nice and attentive. I give them all 5 stars.

Baylorscottandwhite superiority and owners are prejudice and they Need to be shutdown from doing business every Nationality here in earth has the universal right to be Happy and obligated about there Heritage but let me LaRon Conrad Brown make this clear prejudice has no place here in the United States and in the world periodDoctor Dennis Gabriel is an prejudice Doctor who encroached my personal space and when I told him not to past by me so close because i felt unsafe and vexed by him walking upon me so close without no manners he had no brotherly love nor Did Dr Dennis Gabriel follow his own hospital code of conduct so that me and him can meet on common grounds and be peaceful He got me fired from my employer Aramark in the hospital and I am now I am homeless looking for another job and and also i am banned from going to all Baylor Scott and Whites just because This Doctor Dennis Gabriel would not show brotherly love inclusion.

They will give you an estimate for 1 CPT procedure code and then bill you for 3 CPT procedure codes. 3x the cost of the initial estimate. When you call, they will admit their "mistake" (their word) but still expect you to pay for their "mistake" after denying appeals to correct your bill. I wonder how often this type of "mistake" happens for routine outpatient procedures. Must be very profitable pretending like they are following consumer transparency laws but having a culture of bad faith administrative practices. How very "Christian ministry" of you!

This is my second review only because today is my birthday and thanks to them and god I am here another 3 yrs I can’t believe 3yrs have already passed. I will never ever forget this Baylor for as long as I live I was in a coma almost 2 month months and I’m the hospital 5 months they respected my family’s wishes not to disconnect me and I am alive and doing better I will never forget the care I received from such a professional place who knew what they were doing they were clean and always kept me and my room clean they made sure a bath was available every night if I wanted it thier procedures were clean and on point sure every hospital has good and bad nurses doctórela etc but the good ones most def made up for. The bad ones they made sure I was ok and tended to my needs they worked so hard to care for me and most made sure I felt cared for as much as I wanted to be home I cried when I left my last day because I felt safety and cared for I was worried about such an expensive hospital bill and someone who I never knew whom payed my hospital bills as a charity I was that sick I hope whoever it was is blessed always today is my birthday and till this day I pray for the nurses and medical team I had and pray baylor can always care for people like they did for me they saved my life and I seen many things when I was there they ran as soon as patients would blue code they are the best hospital anyone could be at at a emergency situation I lived in Fort Worth and something brought me all the way there god said that was the place for me that’s where he wanted me no other hospital is better than plano baylor I’d trust them again if I had too

It is a great place for pain management. There is a new girl there named Tina and she made the visit very pleasurable. She has a great personality and is an improvement over the former assistant. The office is always clean, the staff is friendly and they make going to the doctor there a positive experience.

I had a colonoscopy. I had pre-registered on the phone, so check in was quick. Someone had canceled, so I had just been put in a room and had not changed into their backless gown when they were ready for me. Procedure was quick and efficient. Staff informed me of what was going to take place and prepped me quickly and got the job done. Dr. Sheikh is very good and informative and has an excellent supporting staff.

Im giving this place a 1 star review due to patient negligence. I come in with my mother who claims shes having pain on her arm. She called her doctor and they sent her to the ER because it sounded like a blood clot to them. We arrived at 10:30 am and she was scheduled for a X-Ray and a Ultrasound and it has been 2 hours. It was 12 when i had to go and ask them when will they be taking her, they come in moments after to take her for thr procedure. She comes back fine, doctors say shes going to be fine. Little did i know after when she came back after leaving, the staff for Ultra Sound completely forgotten about her.If she had gone for having a actual blood clot, and i hadnt gone to ask, she probably would've lost blood circulation in her arm for being in thr room for two hours straight cause of these staff forgetting about her.

I sure didn’t choose to be in a hospital, but being told that the hospital’s in Tyler to weren’t capable of caring for my emergency need with eather an L vad or even transplant needs, I have to admit it was a pleasant experience, physicians very informative attentive, rather friendly, and so far nursing staff very simpathetic to every attention to detail….

Update 1/2/24 p.m.: Please note Baylor's reply with a customer service link that does not work. We also just discovered the attending physician prescribed half the dosage of pain pills he only gave us 4 of for a holiday weekend. Her PCP is shocked and very unhappy. She has suffered unnecessarily because of this hospital.1/2/24 a.m.:My mom's pain was very poorly controlled, pain meds late almost every time for 10 days. The staffing over the holidays was abysmal. We got conflicting information several times, the board in her room not well-updated. Two stars because, well, they kept her alive. In addition, my Dad who is her caregiver, came home with Cellulitis which his doctor tells us he contracted at Baylor Plano -- the only place he's been for 10 days taking care of my mom. It's going to be difficult to take care of them both now. Baylor Plano...the gift that keeps on giving. My Dad is getting better care at Baylor Sunnyvale.
