“I want to personally shout out Victoria in this store. She is the epitome of customer service. I picked an already sold recliner set and didn’t really want any other kind. First she called a few stores looking for it with no luck, then gave me the option to order although I didn’t really want to do that. Finally, she was able to get the set back I had from a different store and get it delivered the next day. I told her I needed a 30 min call ahead so I can leave work, which the delivery drivers did, but it was written in capital letters and highlighted on my agreement as a reminder to them. She was pleasant and accommodating from the time I walked in the store until the final call to set my delivery time. I recommend this store to everyone and anyone.”

“we just moved in to Prosper, TX from Illinois and had bought a Husky Tool chest online and had it delivered. However the chest had a problem wherein the upper chest was locked while the keys were still inside the chest!! Per one of our friend's suggestion we took it to the Plano location and oh boy! those guys were so helpful! There was this tall middle-aged guy who tried all possible means to get the chest opened (hardware, their repository of keys etc. etc. for almost half an hour). When nothing worked, he asked the cashier guy (Avik I think) to check if they have a similar one. they had one display one and they gladly exchanged it for the one we had!!! They could have easily drove us away and could have just returned the whole thing but we were so pleased with the amount of urgency and diligence they showed!!! 5 star guys...keep it up!”

“You probably know this. There are two types of businesses. The "I only care about the money," and "I care about the customer and that is why I make money." The days of dialing "0" on your rotary phone and getting an operator who assisted you with anything telephonic are gone. But even today you can still find that rare business that is friendly, fair, excellent service, knowledgable about the products, and never disappoints you. Rarely is that a megalopolis business. But the Mom and Pops who continue to thrive usually are. Steve Black's Vacuums is one such business. In the more than 4-decades we have lived in Plano we never replaced a vacuum cleaner because Steve Black knows his craft and has repaired and/or maintained them for us. Including a nearly 80-year old Electrolux tank vacuum cleaner that belonged to my wifes grandmother. If Steve Black isn't the person you take your vacuum cleaner for annual maintenance, expect to see Steve Black to replace it, if he can't fix it. If you do replace it from his inventory, expect it to last the rest of your life because you know where to take it to keep it healthy.”
