We enjoyed an excellent packing and moving experience with Coleman Allied. Very competent and professional and friendly across-the-board from the estimator to the packers to the loaders and especially our driver. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with using Allied Coleman. Matt came quick to do the walk through and was right on with his quote. Ashley stayed in contact through the whole process and was very helpful. Mario the driver was great and punctual throughout the time moving our things.

We moved states and had lived in our home since 2005. Allied was exceptional from start to finish. The people were so helpful and accommodating! I highly recommend them!!

I am pretty impressed with Allied Van Lines. We had to move from Texas to Washington state and I was anxious about how we would get all our stuff across the country, especially given the fact that we have two dogs we would be traveling with. We decided to hire a moving company to handle everything outside of packing just to alleviate some of the stress. To talk about the positives: 1) All our stuff came to us on the delivery timeline that they gave us, which was nice because you hear about other moving companies being delayed or holding your stuff hostage. 2) We didn’t have to pay any more than our estimate given to us. Other moving companies quoted us lower but after doing a ton of research, I found out that most companies end up charging you more than their estimates and Allied was good at giving you an accurate estimate. 3) None of our stuff was damaged during the move and the movers had a really good system of tracking all your stuff so you would know if something got lost in transit. Now there was a reason I didn’t give 5 stars, so I had to knock out a star because the initial interactions we had with the company was pretty rough. For starters, the sales guy was super pushy about getting us to sign the contract. I get that it’s their job to close but there were times that I felt uncomfortable and almost went with another moving company. And then once we signed the contract and received all the confirmation emails, it took like a week to get a hold of someone to talk to on the phone so they could answer some of my follow-up questions I had. I don’t mind email communications but I hate the back and forth waiting for responses so this was a personal problem for me.These things aren’t a huge deal in the grand scheme of things because it all worked out in the end. At first I didn’t feel super comfortable but once the move happened, I felt better working with the actual movers. The team that loaded our stuff at our previous apartment, the driver, and the team that unloaded our stuff into our current house did an excellent job. At the end of the day, I’m happy we went with Allied because the folks that physically got our stuff to our new home were the real pros.So if you don’t mind working with a large moving company and all the annoying back and forth communications, then go with Allied — they’ll get all your stuff to you on time and unscathed. And that’s really all that matters.

Worst experience of my life! Every single person that you talk to from the bottom to the top will promise you the world and they’ll do NOTHING about it! Long story short, the driver was 5 hours late because last minute he took on another job that wasn’t scheduled, impacted our move significantly! They had to return to our storage units to finish the job that was supposed to have been completed the night before (couldn’t finish because they were so late) but that next morning the packers didn’t show! I had to gather my own friends and we had to pack the Coleman Allied truck OURSELVES! When the driver was able to find packers he told them not to come because the packers wanted $150 more than their $200 daily fee due to last minute work request. The driver wouldn’t pay an extra $150 so I had to spend 8 hours with two of my friends packing and loading, doing the job we paid Coleman Allied to do! Coleman Allied offered $200 for my trouble. $200!!! Things arrived broken, dented, and scratched. The items were not probably counted or documented when inventory was taken by the driver. The entire company is unprofessional and does NOTHING to help the customer! They’ll take your money though! They charged our credit card before delivery (not supposed to do that) once they learned there was an issue and we weren’t happy. Save yourself the trouble and move on, hire someone else. Coleman Allied is THE WORST! This company needs to be shut down for the safety of the general public.

Very kind workers but make sure you are present to supervise them! We had a lot of things broken and scratched. We’re still adding up the costs but it’s going to be north of $5000 in damages. They were also in such a rush that they left all of the packaging and blankets at the house.Again, VERY kind and professional but need to be micromanaged!

Overall the experience was good. We were moving from the DFW area to NE Alabama on top of a mountain 5 miles down a dirt road. I explained with my first moving coordinator that we'd require a shuttle for our road because we have a tight s-curve that an 18 wheeler couldn't manage. The loading day came and all was well. We spoke with the driver about the shuttle and told him about the road he said they would touch base when they knee a delivery date for certain. The week of delivery comes and the driver calls me and states that he's now been told my coordinator spoke with me and I changed my mind and my house is now located on a flat area not a mountain top and will no longer need a shuttle. I then explained to him that no my house didn't suddenly move from the mountain and a shuttle was still needed and I hadn't spoken to anyone but him since they had packed us in Texas. He suggested I call the coordinator and he'd contact his dispatch and we'd touch base later. I call and leave a message that somewhere the communication is off and we indeed need a shuttle. I receive another call back from a coordinator saying the delivery is set for tomorrow and I stress that a shuttle is needed. Delivery day comes and I hear from the driver that they are on their way to Uhaul to get a shuttle. We asked the driver what he thought of our road and if he was glad I stressed the shuttle and he said oh yes no way the truck would have made it down the road.Jerry (the driver) and his son were absolutely wonderful. The communication between the dispatch and whoever our coordinator was was poor to say the least. I don't think I spoke to the same coordinator twice. All our items arrived and everything in good condition. I just felt bad for our driver and all the back and forth miscommunication.

This is first time I’ve ever given a bad review and if I could I would’ve given - stars I would. I will keep it simple just stay the hell away from these guys and if you have to pay little extra to go with a different moving company please do so. When my stuff was picked up for moving out of state, I found out after the fact while it was in transit that half of my stuff was in overflow and won’t be deliver for another 2-3 weeks. It’s still not delivered within their delivery spread and they won’t even compensate for inconvenience they’re causing me financially having to buy items just to live by. On top of that the driver and the helper were yelling and arguing right outside my home when they were dropping my first load.

Box must have fallen in truck or dropped. Irreplaceable, sentimental items broken. Several pieces of furniture damaged. Will file claim for damages.Boxes clearly labeled as to were to put them left in the wrong place.Estimator mis-represented size of item requiring 3rd party crating. I had part of original shipping crate so materials they brought worked.Destination 3rd party “specialty” mover broke marble top to buffet and damaged floor & wall. Claim pending for repairs & replacement.Move coordinator has been responsive and crew loading truck was courteous and worked well together. I was not present but had a representative at unloading. This is not the moving experience I anticipated.

The team that worked on my cross country move were very good at explaining everything and informing me about what they could and could not move for us so we could plan accordingly. The move of our belongings from our storage facilities was done quickly and efficiently. However the move from our 5 bedroom home was a bit chaotic - some things they were supposed to take got left behind and they took items that were marked to be left with the house for the new owner. We had to make a special trip back in a U-Haul to collect what was ours and return what was theirs. 99% of our belongings made it to the new home in perfect condition. A few minor casualties - some broken glasses and large framed pictures didn't survive the trip - but all in all it was a positive experience. The drivers and their helpers were all skilled and professional and personable making the move an overall good experience. I would recommend this company for their skills and ability to do a good job. BUT this move cost us 40K which I think was above what other companies would have charged for the same trip.

They were the best moving company I have ever used... 25 years of moving with the military and one previous move on my own, which was a nightmare, hands down from start to finish absolutely top quality. I had constant communication with my rep and my driver/loader. My driver was amazing! He loaded from texas and had my house hold goods to Phoenix at the exact time he said he would have them there. I will never use another moving company again. Can't say enough about them other than Thank you for your professional service and care.

We used Allied for a major move from Texas to Utah and were very pleased with the job they did. They were the most cost effective option after evaluating moving companies. When Jeff walked through to estimate weight and give us the guaranteed price he had good ideas about saving us time and was extremely helpful including the day of the move. He’s been doing this for more than a decade. Andrew, our driver, was outstanding; think he’s been doing this more than 30 years. Since we had such a large move (about 30,000 pounds), Andrew came a day before the move to take the inventory and get everything labeled. This made moving day much easier. Aaron was absolutely wonderful to work with in Texas and when he delivered our stuff to Utah. Others who helped load and unload the truck were careful and did some additional work moving some heavy items left by the prior owner in our Utah home. Otavia in the office was also easy to work with and communicated with us throughout the process. We are having work done in our Utah home as I write this and we haven’t unpacked most boxes yet, but we were extremely pleased with everyone we worked with at Allied, the service provided, and the cost relative to others. I would absolutely use Allied again!!!

We used Allied for an interstate relocation. They were FAR superior to the last movers we used a few years ago. Allied was professional from the introductory meeting, answering all of our questions and their price was better. Ricardo, the driver was great at communicating when he picked up our belongings and also when he delivered them. It was wonderful working with the same person at both ends of the journey.
