To whom this may concern,
I’m genuinely appalled at the level of customer service/professionalism, or the lack thereof that has caused me enough distress where I felt the need to actually write this.
Upon walking into the store my experience was quite pleasant. I showed a picture of the shoes I wanted and was serviced within the first two minutes. I tried on a few pairs, and were successful in finding the right size. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worst when I made my decision to proceed with purchasing the shoes.
As if the “sale” signs weren’t enough to indicate that there was clearly a sale going on - the associate told me the shoes I wanted were full price (mind you I already showed this person the exact pair of shoes from the online store which boasted this ‘anniversary sale’). I simply say that I saw online they were a certain price at which point she says, “show me”. After retrieving my phone, and showing her the website, she accuses me of attempting to show her a screenshot and says, “prove it’s the actual website”. Good heavens it was embarrassing enough when the associate didn’t know their own sales (mind you this person claimed to be some management level employee) but to accuse your customers of some delinquent behavior is preposterous. The worst part is as she’s ringing me up she proceeds to talk about how they’ll honor whatever price the website says - even if there’s an “error or glitch on the site”. I know accountability can be hard.
Lastly, as the associate is packaging my shoes they ask me ad nauseum about taking other pairs of shoes home with me. No, just please stop talking to me and sell me my shoes. Then at the register she has the audacity to give herself a “9” on the customer survey which I was wanting to fill out! Like she genuinely reached over the counter and clicked 9 on the screen she knew was going to pop up. (She then did this when I came to return the shoes too). From a former retail employee - she’s definitely inflating her metrics.
P.S. That evening I was so mad I bought the exact same pair of shoes and another pair online just to be petty. Plus I signed up for the newsletter and got an additional 10% off (which had she offered probably would’ve gotten me to purchase the second pair). Lovely shoes though.

I wanted to take a minute to recognize Dustin, the Asst. Store Manager at The Shops at Willow Bend. My husband had an issue with a pair of shoes he had previously purchased and Dustin went above and beyond in resolving it. He has purchased several pairs of shoes, but after this interaction, you have made him a lifelong customer. Thank you, Dustin, for your help!

I have been a lifetime customer of Allen, Edmonds shoes. They are absolutely the best. I recently purchased shoes from the Willowbend store in Plano Texas, and had truly outstanding experience. I would highly recommend this brand and very highly recommend any Alan Edmond store.

Expect slow and bad service with staff that requires training on how to perform their duties. I had waited half an hour on a return before I was told that they must take care of it another day…..If you read the other reviews for this location, you’ll see similar feedback. Didn’t think it could be so difficult to complete a return.Supposedly he was unable to identify if my order was done online or in store despite providing them with an online receipt and them printing a receipt out that specifically states online ?♂️Do yourself a favor, don’t go to this store to save yourself from a headache

Richard and Russ are both great guys. They will take care of you.I went in to purchase a pair of shoes taking advantage of the sale. Tried to use zip pay and couldn't make the purchase in the store. Cost Richard a sale. I am sorry for this. I had to purchase on line.

Allen Edmonds are a great company, great shoes and great customer service. Apart from this store.The manager of this store is an embarrassment to the company. He has the worst customer sevice I have ever witnessed within The Allen Edmonds Company.Go to The Dallas Location instead.
