I have loved BF Bakery for years, and I still do. This review is only for the service I experienced today, unfortunately.
On March 26, 2025, around 6:00 PM, I was waiting to check out, but no one was at the front counter. I repeatedly said "hello" and waited politely for several minutes, wondering if there was a sign indicating that the bakery was closed. Finally, a young Hispanic girl appeared from behind the machines and stared at me as if I had offended her. She continued to stare at me with an attitude and did not apologize for making me wait. I recognized her as someone who had been rude and hostile towards Asian customers in the past. This would be the last thing I wanted to encounter at the end of the day. I'm old, I'm tired, and I just want to go home and enjoy my favorite bakeries!
I sincerely hope that the management of 99 Ranch in Plano, TX, will implement much better customer service protocols for this particular individual or consider letting go of this young Hispanic girl who seems to have personal issues with Asians.

The store itself is fine
But I want to ask Dahua Supermarket some questions
Excuse me
There is a sign at the door of your store prohibiting law-abiding people from bringing guns to shop. So in extreme situations, such as armed robbery or indiscriminate attacks, does your store take full responsibility for the safety of its customers?
How does your store protect defenseless customers when faced with violent crime?
Criminals don't see these signs and don't bring guns in because they won't obey the law. Does your store know that your setup is just restricting good people’s rights and abilities to protect themselves?
I just wanted to ask some questions
So I noticed the no gun signs at the door
Since you prohibit lawful carry, do you take full responsibility for customers’ safety in case of an armed robbery?
How does your store plan to protect unarmed customers from violent criminals?
Why do you ban law-abiding people from carrying, while criminals don’t follow signs?

I love this branch in Frisco, TX. I found a great place to eat in their food court.

There was a racist white woman who assumed me and my girlfriend and sister were going to steal. She told us the self checkout was closed even though the screens said open on both of them. And another customer checked out while we had to wait for her to come back from helping another customer. This was a horrible experience!

We love the food court with a variety of authentic Chinese dishes that are not pricey.

Just came back from buying a big order of dim-sum from their takeout counter and omg. This young man basically trashed and crushed half of my shrimp dumplings in the process of getting them out of the steamer into the takeout container. Half of them had their contents spilled and integrity of the dumplings destroyed. The abject lack of care into placing my takeout order was abhorrent. He sorta half heartedly offered to replace the crushed ones, but never did actually replace them.
Young man, even if you hate your job, don’t take your frustration out on my food that I pay for and plan to serve to my family.
It’s a small thing and it’s the holiday season so part of me thinks I should be more jolly and forgiving about it, but it’s just downright disgusting how he tosses all the frail dimsum around. Have some respect for the food you serve!!! Ugh. Poor service is an understatement.

Customer service needs to be better for non-chinese speaking Asians. Also, sometimes the missing reward points do not get recorded & called 4 to 5 times asking the manager has been very difficult and not recorded. They keep lying to me that they 're going to do it. New rule that points can expire if not used or met within 365 days; that's not a good policy!! I have been shopping there since they opened. The store quality and pricing are diminishing 👎

Cooked food quality is getting worse while price is raised up 40%. It is also much harder to communicate with food counter staff. Their language ability, English or Chinese, is a challenge

There is a good variety but there are very few people to guide you where the products are.

I would give this grocery store, a 4 out of 5 because I feel like there was a nice busy Asian atmosphere definitely ton of Asian locals come. The food and grocery selection was amazing and there were so many new things that you could try however, the bathroom is definitely need improvement. I think the facility could use some remodeling as well, but it won’t impact your shopping experience. Also the bakery inside is actually so delicious and the breads and pastries that they offer are phenomenal so definitely give it a try. Happy Asian supermarket shopping!
