All the 24hr Fitness in the DFW areas are safety and health hazardous. Theres mold, algae, broken tiles and doors, wet area smells like the outhouse, dust build up, benches are torn, equipments are out of order for months at a time. I will not be renewing my membership.

I decide not to renew my membership so I tried every possible way to cancel it before the renewal date: I filled the form on the 24h fitness website， I called the customer service many times， I sent an email directly to the customer service department， and I even locked my credit card before my renewal date in case I get charged. While I got no response from any of the above ways. And I still got charged on 18the Sep.
I went to talk with the manager in person and she told me she couldn’t refund me and I need to get a permission to cancel the membership. Im pretty sure she was lying since I have a friend who used to work in 24h fitness and I know the manager have the full right of cancellation and refund.
I have submitted a complaint to the BBB and dispute the charge to my bank.
And I’m also ready for the small claims court, since I have plenty of time in the future this year.
This is not only a money issue, I hate all scam and fraud. LETS PLAY TO THE END. ：）

Probably one of the dirtiest 24 hr fitness locations I've been to. The floors are really gross, hand sanitizer machines are broken and there's rarely paper towel and sanitizer to wipe down the machines. The most annoying thing is they close the women's bathroom every morning from 7:30-8:30 so the male janitor can clean. How can you close the women's bathroom during the busiest hours when women are supposed to get ready for work after a workout ? Very annoying!

I've been a member of 24hr Gym for several years, and I have to say that the facility has declined significantly in appearance and maintenance. The bathrooms, in particular, are in a deplorable state. They're often dirty, with overflowing trash bins, broken fixtures, and an unpleasant odor that lingers. It's clear that regular cleaning and maintenance are not being prioritized.
The general amenities also seem to be neglected. Wet sauna tons of black mold, if not months, and the overall cleanliness of the gym is lacking. It's disappointing to see a place that once provided a great environment for fitness enthusiasts fall into such disrepair.
I believe a call to the upper management of 24hr Fitness is necessary. If the gym is going to continue taking people's money, it should provide a safe and clean facility. Members deserve better, and it's time for management to step up and address these issues. The decline in standards is unacceptable, and immediate action is required to restore the gym to its former glory. Let's make 24hr great again!

The 24 Hour Fitness in East Plano has some truely excellent instructors and offers a relatively decent selection of fitness classes compared to other 24 HF clubs but unfortunately the club is not well maintained and very dirty. I think this could be an excellent club if they could just take better care of it.

I would give it a -5 star but I can't find the option, I went in and as soon as I saw the locker room I left and the cherry on top was some guys smoking weed in the locker room this place is so disgusting I don't even want to touch the equipment

I am tired of this and want to publicly share the progress on getting something done about this place. I have sent this to corporate as after speaking with someone working there stated, to address it with them as there is nothing within their pay grade to do. If you also are a member, I encourage you to join in brining this to their attention.
Dear Corporate: I live in zip code 75074 and the gyms I have visited around my area are all very very dirty. This particular club has a man cleaning the women’s locker room which is not appropriate or ethical. When I was a member in 2021-2023, at the time your company had a woman in the men’s locker room at this location. This is just one of the many things wrong with how the cleaning is being handled or rather NOT being handled. The showers all have black, pink & yellow mold. The drains reek a terrible smell. I am very disappointed as when I was a member years ago (about 2011-2016) 24 hour fitness was at it’s peak in regards to all aspects, especially the cleaning. I have seen roaches at this location as well, it’s very sad. I will cancel my membership for the third time if this does not get addressed. The corporate greed is visible by the lack of action by 24 Hour Fitness. Do you not care enough to do something & hire the rightly trained staff to truly care about your customer’s health by maintaining sanitized, clean & well operated gyms?

I paid for a 1 year membership and my renewal date came up last week. I haven't been to this gym in months and before I left I talked with an employee to make sure my "auto renew" wasn't turned on (obviously because I had an intention of changing gyms). I was charged for another year of membership, gave them a call to ask for a refund and it was refused by the general manager. I'm pretty bitter about this and don't think this is a great indication of how they treat their customers.
General Managers name is Krista (if she was being honest about that), please give her the stink eye for me.
From reviewing the gym itself it's a fine gym for the price. I ended up leaving because the men's bathroom is constantly disgusting.
Going to corporate now to see if I can get my issue resolved, if not then it's the dispute charge with my cc company. Wish me luck. Would not recommend this gym.
Leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

If you are a women don’t come here in the morning expecting to get ready for work after you workout. The WOMENS locker room only is closed every morning from 730 -830 am except Wednesdays for cleaning. They do have a unisex bathroom if you need to go but they (staff) will tell you to hurry because it’s the only female toilet. Don’t worry though. Once you see it would not want to use it.
Prior to this I rather liked this gym. New equipment, decent showers, friendly staff, nice pool. That is why I gave 2 stars.
I get it, no one wants to clean the bathroom. But if I’m paying for a membership the facilities should be available for use especially the bathroom! My membership should be half what I’m paying if I can’t use the female bathroom every morning!I will be contacting corporate to request a refund. Suggestion, hire an evening cleaning crew. That way the bathroom can be open during prime hours for female members.

Gym was supposed to open nearly three hours ago and it is still closed. Customers waiting in the heat and some do not have rides to leave. Pretty awful.

Been a member for years, good equipment and sauna. Cleanliness is bad. I turned them in to plano Health department 2 months ago. Its still dirty floors in locker room and sana and pool. Machines have balls of dust under them. They used to have a 3 person outside company cleaning now its one guy who spends lots of time talking up front to staff.
