I had a wonderful experience with Marlene and the CCPAL. I own a pet transportation company and drove to Texas to pick up a rescue pup for my client this past week. As you can see from the pictures, the puppy I picked up from CCPAL was happy, healthy, and was in great hands before I arrived. Marlene provided me with all of the necessary health documents and spent time going over all of his care instructions and his personality with me. Don't hesitate if you are considering adopting a pet from CCPAL!

continually humbled by volunteers who work so hard to make lives of rescue dogs and cats that much better. the folks at CCPAL are amazing, and found us a Rat Terrier who we call Raffi. we ultimately might not be her fur-ever humans as she's still very reactive to my toddler, which is of course nobody's fault--some dogs are wired that way... not all toddlers are suitable for certain dogs, and vice versa.but hoo boy, what a change in 3 weeks: she went from being an acutely scared pupper to loving, listening, engaged four-legged. she's changed me in ways I never thought possible.please support CCPAL in any way you can: volunteer, donation, anything. they do such great work, and I'm forever in their debt.

This place is so awesome! I highly recommend adopting a pet from here. They’re very quick with communicating, very friendly and they’re very detailed on their pets they rescued including videos on YouTube & they post on their fb page. I’m so excited to get my forever furry companion from here. Very happy I found this place!

I got beautiful Zoey from CCPAL. She is smart, beautiful and has her forever home now. This was a perfect match for me as a senior with time to devote to her. A great little dog with lots of love and personality.

This place is amazing!! We rescued two dogs. They never fought us like other places do when pairing dogs, and they get along great. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The price can't be beat for the shots and teavel fee. Only place we will work with. Looking forward to rescuing another dog.

I adopted the love of my life, Scooter, from here almost two years ago and I am so grateful for CCPAL for giving me the opportunity to adopt my little best friend. They were so thorough with their application and screening process. Scooter had to be transported from Texas to WA and while he was on his way he developed an infection. They notified me right away and overnighted medication to make sure I had it when he arrived.All of this showed the care and compassion they have towards their animals and they make sure you are set up for success to give them the best life possible. Prior to Scooter arriving, they emailed me information on how to best take care of him and kept in touch to check on him afterwards. They are an amazing rescue and I’d adopt from them in a heart beat!

Just want to say that this is such a wonderful rescue. We adopted our boy Ralph back in August and we couldn’t be more pleased. I was contacted immediately after submitting an application, the communication was wonderful, through email, text,and talking on the phone.Marlene, Sheila, and Alice are all amazing people. This is such an amazing rescue and I’m so thankful for all that they have done for me and my family to bring Ralph into our lives. The transport team was also amazing. They have a Facebook page and I was able to see pictures and follow them for three days they were on the road to get to us here in New York from Texas.
