I spent over 7 thousand here. Everything broke, chipped, after months. I am so upset that all that money couldn’t buy anything decent here. My daughters bed broke on her last night, completely stripped on cheap thin compost wood. That bed set was over a thousand. My bed stand peeling after a few months. Dinner tables all fell apart, dinner table peeling and chipping, $300 coffee table paint and wood coming off. My king bed didn’t come with enough wood slates so I bought more. Literally everything I bought didn’t hold up past one year. Don’t even get me started about their over priced couches. I should have gone to big lots or any other discount furniture store and got my money worth. This place is so overpriced for terrible quality!!

They don’t even deserve a star to be honest. Went in because my daughter was buying furniture for the first time ever... she’s trying to adult... the sales guy said she wasn’t able to get free delivery service to her place even though she was spending a pretty penny in there... ugh! It’s like, don’t say free delivery and then tell us that you can’t deliver her furniture. I showed them the email where it stated free local delivery... well she didn’t get free delivery and had my brother in laws help her pick up what she purchased. I wouldn’t have even bought anything from this false store. PS... they never answer the dam phone either. I would take my money and go spend it at a family owned furniture store. They treated us way better.

They never answer calls! Like what is this??? What kind of company is this?! ??? called multiple times and can’t even answer a simple dam question, obviously very unprofessional! Do your shopping elsewhere.

I purchased a bed at Lacks two months later the bed broke and the company never wanted to make it good for me. Lacks has the worse customer service I have ever experienced with any company I have ever done business with.

We bought a bedroom suite and a couch set from Lacks. Well our bedroom suite was delivered damaged so we had to refuse it and wait for another to arrive. We finally got the bedroom suite in a satisfactory condition but never received our couches. We've been paying on our furniture for like 6 months now and we STILL have not received our couches. As if that's not bad enough, we just received a call from Lacks saying that the manufacturer isnt making the couches anymore so we can either come pick out something else or cancel our order. We have had a empty livingroom for 6 months because our furniture delivery dates have been changed over and over and NOW they say we're not getting our furniture AT ALL. My only savings grace for Lacks is if they give us something else for the same price. We ARE NOT gonna spend more money. If that's the case I'd just say the entire thing was a scam. We're gonna see if they rectify the situation. If they do then I'll rewrite my review. If not then I'll come double down on this review. Customers shouldn't be treated like this and ESPECIALLY with the amount of money we spent.As promised I'm back to explain the outcome of the situation. We went back and had to pick out a livingroom set that had less pieces than the actual livingroom set we bought BUT it worked out because turns out that the 3rd piece wouldn't have fit in our livingroom so I guess it all worked out. Im still REALLY skeptical about shopping here again but who knows. I might give them another try. We'll just have to see.

Ive bought some sofas at the Harlingen Texas lacks like 3 months ago had one replaced on around March 16 and I’ve been getting defective sofas twice the second sofa I received was the worst cushions are not staying in place. Back of sofa is loose big gap between back and sitting area very disappointed. Hopefully they can get replaced since this pandemic got on the way and everything got shut down. But never again will I be purchasing anything from Lacks again if they will be selling junk furniture very disappointing experience

Purchased a sectional w electric components, Delivery guys had to use a hammer to put one recliner together AND MY MISTAKE NOT BRINGING THAT TO LACK'S ATTENTION SAME DAY !!... The head rest on it is messed up and is CROOKED!!... LACKS SENDS AN INSPECTOR OUT , AFTER I FINALLY CALLED THEM IN IT, AND SAYS THAT I NEED A WHOLE NEW PEICE , WELL A FEW DAYS AFTER THEY CALL AND TELL ME THAT THEY ARE ORDERING A PART AND NEED TO PICK MY CHAIR UP TO TAKE TO WAREHOUSE TO FIX IT, AND UNDO THE HEAD REST TO LOOK INTO IT !!.... SAID THE WARRANTY ONLY COVERS PARTS, NOT REPLACEMENT !!! WTF... ITS ONLY 1 MONTH OLD !!!

A year ago my husband and I bought a bedroom set & its amazing. I did send back some damage parts & had to wait for them to return back with everything undamaged which I inspected. During the week that the virus was being taken more seriously this year, lacks decided to close which is fine but we went in and bought a dining table and was supposed to be delivered in less than a week. Paid in the full amount on March, 19, 2020. I did not know lacks closed, I also was not notified by the person who sold us the dining table or anyone as a matter of fact that it was not going to be delivered. I will be getting my refund & going elsewhere.

We went to lacks less than a month ago and bought a $2,800 sectional and $1,000 70” TV along with a $900 dining table and chairs.First off , I paid for a NEW sectional , and after the sectional was delivered we found the REPAIR history to it inside one of the compartments, meaning the sofa was NOT NEW! Also one of the seats was very worn out. It looked as if the sofa was old.Second, I paid for a NEW TV , and when we opened it , the wrapping had already been opened , and it looks as if someone tried taping all the inside wrap to make it seem new . Aside from that , the screen is cracked.NEVER WASTING A PENNY AT THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! We thought about going to a smaller furniture store thinking Lacks was going to be TOO expensive but we ended up going there because we figured we’d run a much less chance of going through something like this.

BUYER BEWARE OF THEIR NO INTEREST GIMMIC!!!!I have been a long time LOYAL customer for over 25 yrs and have purchased furniture for my home twice over and recently even purchased several pieces for my son as a house warming gift. I missed a payment by 2 days on the due date and they hit me with over $1000 interest and was only $700 away from paying it off.!!!Never purchasing there again, no loyalty to the customer.!!!MONITOR YOUR PURCHASE AND PAYMENTS ONLINE VERY CLOSELY. I PROBABLY OVERPAID ON SOME OF MY ACCOUNTS BECAUSE I HADNT SET THIS UP ONLINE.DONT LET THEM ADD ADDITIONAL “INSURANCE” COVERAGE TO YOUR BILL IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A HOME OWNERS INSURANCE- JUST TAKE THEM A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT INSURANCE TO SAVE YOU SOME MONEY - THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS!!NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!!!

Terrible customer service. Had a defective piece of furniture delivered. It took 30 minutes of calling to get a hold of someone. Then they told me I had to pay to have it delivered back to their warehouse?

Make sure you reserve the whole day to pick up your furniture because they WILL keep you waiting for 24 hours I’m the lobby and make sure you bring an ID because they will give you HELL
