Came to Costco today for the very first time since my brother ended up getting a membership and I was very excited as I’ve always been a Sam’s club holder. The shopping was great as it was good to see alternative selections, but the reason why I won’t be going back here is for the awful system Costco uses to check out.
🚨 If you plan to shop here make sure you DON’T USE MASTERCARD OR DISCOVER CARD ‼️‼️‼️
It was so embarrassing checking out today and I was using my Discover card since I have a 5% cash back with purchases I make at wholesale clubs but Costco for some reason does not accept that and it makes me wonder how much business they lose for this stupid reason. Not only that but their kiosk system robot lets the whole warehouse know your card isn’t going through or if something wasn’t “scanned” right. It was too chaotic and because of the system shouting my decline, there was so many people staring and my anxiety started kicking in and I felt flushed and was nearly drenched in sweat. I ended up having to leave my items there and did the walk of shame out the doors with of course people staring who were sitting at the tables.
Needles to say, I took my butt to Sams club and got the exact same things I would have gotten at Costco and for a cheaper price! I got to use my handy dandy Discover card with no problem and the environment was so much smoother.
Maybe I will give Costco another try if I ever get a Visa card but it ain’t anytime soon ✌️

It's the best pizza for $10, but dont bother attempting to avoid the costco circus by calling your pizza in. You still have to sneak past the overzealous door guards and queue up in the same forever line of confused grandmas and crying children at the kiosks, but as an added bonus they stick your pizza in a cabinet somewhere and forget about it until you go ask wtf is going on with your order. Some pizza gets cold gracefully, but not costco.

I was disappointed, it was the first time I ate at a Costco in the United States and the food is better in Mexico. The hot dog is small and not very tasty. The drinks were also not very good.

I trust this company and even though I'm used to the one I've been going to in San Antonio for 10+ yrs, this one still has the same high quality foods, same prices if not cheaper, and same type of amazing people working. They always do the right thing and I always leave very happy with literally everything I buy there. Even the hot food at the meat counter is good, like if you are hosting people and don't have time to cook, this is the place.

Next time I feel like pizza I will have a difficult choicePepperoni pizza OR LardI have been a patron of this business since inception and oh my!Never seen this before; what a waste of time and money and ohboy what a wait indeed; could've made pizza from scratch by the time it took for "this" to be served? what was it? Manny and Johnny and the team at Costco tire center couldn't be more helpful and thoughtful! Costco corporate these guys need raises! They are assets to your company!! They know what they are doing and they take the time to explain and they have knowledge of their products and go over and beyond! Thank y'all!!!

Selection and staff are friendly, although my only complaint are the long lines because there isn't enough cashiers! I choose this big box store over the Sam's down the road any day!

Costco has always been a treat to have close. Their quality is exceptional. I can't beat the taste & value of the great Angus burgers package! It's the best burger even considering going out dining! When I want fruit to have on hand due to heat, I keep a large frozen bag of mangos. It's already cut up & perfect to eat frozen or chopped for the blender!! This last trip I noticed the Instant Red potatoes were gone. I questioned the staff asking how I can change this. I was told to put it in the suggestion box which I did. We love to have quick meals on hand. I was pleasantly surprised with the 5# bag of frozen cubed potatoes!! Now I just need a new freezer!

We came and found the items we were looking for with ease. The self checkout line was fast and staff was helpful. It was my cousins first time coming to Costco and she was shocked by the deals she's missed out on.
