My 6.7 powerstroke has given me fuel problems for 2 years going through different mechanics. They got it running better than it has since I've owned it.

A friend recommended them, and I'm glad she did. I live in central Austin so this was a bit of a drive, but it was worth it. I was having intermittent connectivity problems between my truck and trailer, to where the left turn signal and then the brakes stopped working. I had brought in just the truck, since they told me when I called that they didn't have room to keep a trailer there.Jeff, the owner, ran a couple of diagnostics on the truck and told me he thought it was the trailer's fault, so he had me go get the trailer and bring it over so he could go over it also, which was what I had wanted to do in the first place. (Because I had already taken it to one mechanic who quickly told me it must be the trailer, and a trailer dealership, who promised me the problem was the truck. I needed someone to look at both together. ) He tried a whole bunch of different things before isolating and fixing the problem. I was waiting there in the shop and he kept me updated on everything he was doing. It didn't take that long.I don't think a regular mechanic could have found and fixed the problem. It turned out that the diagnostic tool he had used didn't replicate the electrical load that the trailer was pulling, so even though that tool said the problem must be the trailer, in fact it was the truck. If he hadn't been willing to look at both at the same time, we wouldn't have known.BTW the truck is a gasser, not a diesel, but that was no problem. He said he works on all types of trucks. Afterwards he told me that even though of course I don't want to drive the trailer without brakes as a general rule, my truck (a newer 3/4 ton truck) could handle it in an emergency as long as I drove carefully, so I shouldn't worry. I found that really reassuring, as pulling a two-ton trailer when its brakes have gone out was pretty scary. I think he could sense that I am a worrier and told me that so I wouldn't worry.I will be taking my truck to M & M from now on.

Amazing work! They ordered parts for my vehicle and the past came in damaged. Instead of putting the damaged part on and doing a shady job, they called and advised me of the issue and ordered another. I appreciate honesty in business. Was my first time there. If anything else comes up, I'll be sure to return as my first choice. Vehicle is performing great

M&M took care of something another mechanic wouldn't. Did a great job, my excursion runs great now no issues at all. That being said if it ever needs work this is where it'll go.

So far, we are VERY impressed with this shop! Took our truck I'm, because it kept going into limp mode...the owner explained all the issues...filed it all through our extended warranty and have kept us up to date on everything!!

I stumbled into M&M Diesel via Yelp when I needed someone to assess my dad's F250 diesel which had been sitting for more than 2 years. Billy was candid about how soon they could take the truck, helped arrange towing to the shop, and kept me informed all along the way. I am not permanently in the Austin/Pflugerville area, but if I was, this would be my go-to shop.

M&M Diesel & Auto are the only auto mechanics I trust with my vehicles. I’ve been coming here since 2015. They have completed the following auto maintenance items on my vehicles:- Brakes- Oil changes- Transmissions- Cooling systems- Filters- Air Conditioning- Spark plugs- Wipers- FluidsThey have excellent customer service and are Veteran friendly. 10% Veteran discount on parts.I’m very picky and like my cars to run way past 100k miles. M&M Diesel & Auto provides the maintenance work that allows me to get the most out of my vehicles.

I don't know the slightest thing about diesel motor repairs. Brought my truck here and they got me squared away! These people could've told me anything and charged me any amount of money they wanted... (I wouldn't have known any better). That wasn't my experience whatsoever... they were polite, knowledgeable and informative and saved me a bundle of money. Thank you to M&M Diesel and Auto! I'll be your customer for life!
